Crumbl — Restaurant in Ocean Township

False Advertising.

No you can't buy any of the over like 70 different cookies listed on the Crumbl website.

The line was down the strip mall block. Jean, (my Mobility Impaired Mom) had to wait in the car so she could sit. Finally and only because it was 52⁰ out did I ask the nice lady behind me to hold my spot and I got Jean out of the car to sit at an empty table in front of the Restaurant next door to Crumbl. Until I was finally able to enter the Store and wait on line there.

Six. Count em, Six cookie choices featured today to choose from. Ho-hum. Not much choice there.

Kind of boring choices; a.Chocolate Chip (2)(Of course, because you have to)✔ b. Rocky Road✔ c. Fun Fetti✔ d. Reeses Pieces✔ e. Peanut Brittle✔ f. Some Pink icing cookie, looked awful❌

Overpriced nonsense. One cookie is $4.25, a box of 6, (which is what we got) was $21.00!!! I told Arthur, my Dad and he flipped his lid.

Now to the taste. More like cake than cookie. I was not impressed. Not with one of em. Jean loved em, but she generally loves everything. Arthur said, "Meh, more cake than cookie. But okay." I said, "You know we got 11 pastries from Del Ponte's in Belmar and they were not only cheaper per pastry but much better tasting than these overpriced cookie-cakes."

Will not be returning anytime soon. And I believe the novelty...

Updated Review- 4/2022 My review has gone from a 5 star to a 1 star. Wow this place has gone down hill. Management get it together! No excuse to wait 25 min for an online pick up order. No one acknowledges you when you walk in and if you don’t speak up, your box will literally sit there. The app is not coordinating with the actual wait time when you get in the store. I’ve tipped the last few times for absolutely nothing. They literally take cookies out of other peoples boxes to fulfill orders for people who are there waiting. I was handed a dirty box with grease all over it and then to top things off, I saw the guy in the back who ices the cookies, LICK HIS FINGERS and then continue icing. Disgusting. You’ve lost my business. Never again.

Original Review: I was afraid this place wasn’t going to be worth the hype but I couldn’t be more wrong. This is the real deal! If you’re a cookie lover, you will become slightly obsessed. The cookies are delicious and fresh. Even flavors I didn’t think I’d be into, blew me away. The place is small but the service was fast & friendly. The staff was working hard and we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes. Can’t wait to try...

The cookies are awesome. The staff? Well not so much. I ordered online for in store pick-up. I checked in through the app when I arrived. I was notified by the app that there were 4 more customers in front of me and I would be notified when my order was ready. I sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes waiting for notification that never came as I watched people walk in the bakery and walk out. So I decided to go in. I stood at the pick-up counter for AT LEAST 10 more minutes while customers walked in, placed orders, paid for the orders, received their orders and left. After all other customers had gone, I was left standing there while a young lady filled her cash till with change. Not one time was I acknowledged. When she finished her drawer she just walked away as if I was invisible. After spending $50 for 12 cookies plus a pre-paid $5 tip, I should not have to excuse myself and ask for my order that was sitting just 12 feet beyond the pick-up counter. I blame the Manager On Duty more than this young kid... she is merely the result of poor training. Such a shame and completely...
