Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Ocean Township

This is considered a “Super green salad”.. there was microwaved chicken and white colourless tomatoes with spinach thrown on top.. the lettuce under the spinach was shredded iceberg lettuce that you would get on a typical fast food submarine sandwhich. The wraps are pre made and frozen.. They also ask you if you want your food for dine in or to go.. for dining in, there is very limited seating and no napkins or silverware available. And good luck getting in line or viewing the menu before ordering, your confined to a small aisle breathing on top of of people or them on you.. this review is to spread awareness that just because it’s advertised as a Healthy Option doesn’t mean it is. I had a delicious Greenland’s smoothie at Tropical Smoothie, made with 2 scoops of whey protein, and it was really satisfying. I appreciate the staff’s kindness—they even gave me the leftover smoothie in the line at the Tons River location, which they were about to throw out, instead of wasting it.
