In the rare times when they are open on a weekend (first and second Sundays of the month), this is a fantastic and free visit for any historical aficionado of the Monmouth county area. the men and women that operate this are unbelievably knowledgeable and expect a guided tour from very well-informed and articulated hosts. The major display inside the Western room of the Wooly House changes yearly in the June timeframe. Last year's was all about world war I, in this area the current installment discusses prohibition and speakeasy of Oakhurst and Ocean township.
