My recent visit to Turning Point was deeply disappointing and, frankly, unsanitary. After a long flight, my parents picked me up from the airport and suggested we stop for a quick breakfast. Unfortunately, this stop turned out to be a regrettable one.
From the moment we walked in, the restaurant had the unmistakable smell of dirty mop water — not the kind of scent that inspires confidence in a place serving food. The tables were sticky to the touch, adding to an overall feeling of neglect.
The tipping point came when my meal arrived. I had ordered the eggs Benedict, but instead of arriving appetizingly, my hollandaise sauce was smeared across the waitress's shirt — specifically across her chest — due to how she was holding the plate. It was an immediate appetite-killer. I politely let her know that I wouldn’t be eating it, as I was understandably uncomfortable with food that had made contact with someone’s clothing before reaching the table.
To her credit, she offered to bring a replacement, but at that point, my trust in the kitchen's standards was gone. I had no way of knowing whether a new dish would actually be freshly made or simply plated differently with a little extra sauce. Out of caution, I declined and chose not to eat at all.
I understand that this is a casual chain restaurant, and I don’t expect a fine-dining experience. However, basic cleanliness and food handling hygiene are not negotiable, regardless of the setting. A young, seasonal staff is not an excuse for a lack of proper training or oversight. This experience was...
Read moreI’ve never posted a review online before but am so disappointed with my first experience here with delivery. When checking out online, I was automatically taken to Grub Hub. I was given a time frame of 35-55 minutes for delivery. After 1.5 hours passed, I called both Grub Hub and the Turning Point. Grub Hub initially could not find my order, after 15 mins on the phone, I was told it would be delivered in 20 mins. By the time the food arrived, it had been 2 hours, it was cold and one out of five of the orders was missing which was mine. I called the Turning Point and was told that a manager would get back to me and I’d receive a refund. By this time, I had spent half of my birthday gathering on the phone and my food was missing from the order. I didn’t receive a call back within a couple of days as I was told, and there was no credit issued. I called again, they explained that they were unable to issue a credit because it was a 3rd party transaction and that I needed to call Grub Hub, give them The manager’s name to approve the transaction. I did this and was told by Grub Hub that since more than 48 hours passed, there was nothing they can do. The Turning Point made the error of omitting an order that was paid for, and Grub Hub showed up over an hour later with cold food. And I was forced to spend a good amount of time trying to receive credit due for their mistakes and nobody could resolve the issue!...

I had my bridal shower there this past weekend and they made it entirely vegan 🥲 they had Just Egg, Beyond Sausage, modified Wilbur Skillets, potatoes, fruit, bagels, and pancakes! They also had out oat and almond milk for coffee. The juices for the mimosa bar were phenomenal!!
The coordinator, Angela, and server were absolutely amazing—they did everything I asked and more! And the event space was so cute!!
ALSO, of course everything tasted amazing! None of my guests are vegan, but I had so many people rave about how delicious everything was!
Highly, highly,...
