I visited Bang Cookies in Oakhurst because they had been chosen to remake the Girl Scout cookie, Caramel Delight for the Jersey Shore Girl Scouts. The cookie had melted chocolate on the bottom, a soft chewy center of sweet coconut, & chocolate morsels on top. The cookie was delicious, of course! I enjoyed the fact that they were participating with the Girl Scouts, & who doesn't love cookies. I was purchasing one for each member of my family (4) & was given another, included. The kitchen is mostly open to the store portion of the business, allowing customers to see stuff baking, which I found interesting, but also gave peace of mind to see how food & cleanliness is handled. I was there rather early, maybe 11am, so the store was not busy. The man at the counter was pleasant, professional, and personable. (I'm sorry, horrible...

Allergy Aware.- Very impressed

Cookies were definitely really good and not as ridiculously sweet as Crumbl, with far better ingredients that are listed on each package.

The service was excellent. The staff was allergy aware and took precautions. The only question I had asked was if there were peanuts in any cookies, at which time She immediately handled all of the non allergy foods with one set of gloves, and changed her gloves out when getting the cookies with nuts . Very clear in her statement that there may be cross contamination. Which is all we can ask for when having a son with a peanut allergy!
