Brooks Street Swim Center — Attraction in Oceanside

I have nothing positive to say of this location at this point. Called and spoke with two different young ladies (names I will not list) both gave information that was false. I called as I was trying to get my two little ones into lessons. The first young lady I spoke with said the Mommy/Me classes were not too full and explained how to sign up. The website she gave was not valid “oceansideonlineregistration.com”. When I finally figured out how to register for the classes after I hung up they were all full. So, I put myself, husband, and 2 children on 7 different waitlists at both the Brooks and Marshall locations. I then called back to explain my situation and wanted to know if I would be called either way to be notified whether we were in the classes or not. The second young lady said “yes, we would be notified via email.” It’s Monday (first day of swim lessons) and we were never contacted. This pool has been closed for a while but it's now open (as of 2/5/2024). However, when I went there, the front door was locked. I called and got a recorded message stating the pool was closed for renovations. Called another number and spoke to an operator who said, the Marshal Street pool was open even though the website said it was closed (as of 2/5/2024). I drove to Marshal Street pool to find a sign that said, 'closed until summer.' I called again and someone at Brooks Street pool answered and said they were open. I told him I had just been there and the door was locked. He said, we don't use the front door, go to the back gate. I then drove back to Brooks Street and had a great workout. Buenas tardes mi nombre es Ms.Connie, Soy maestra en Friendly Garden Children's Preschool. Proveemos un Preschoolar, asi como tambien un Programa despues de escuela Por 17 years . "Summer School " en este ultimo hacemos actividades dentro de la institucion y fuera. Las actividades fuera de ella son visitas a Parques locales, paseos dentro del condado asi como el condado de Los Angeles. Hemos tenido experiencias increibles en cuanto al customer service. Desafortunadamente no podemos decir lo mismo de "BROOKS STREET SWIM CENTER POOL IN OCEANSIDE " localizada en la direccion: (130 Brooks St, Oceanside, CA 92054). En la Semana pasada uno de nuestros alumnos fue expulsado de la piscina de una manera muy antiprofesional. esta semana decidimos no llevar al nino y a la maestra que se encontraba con el. Fue un grupo diferente de estudiantes y nuevamente ha sucedido lo mismo. Ahora es entendido que el trato que les dan a la instutucion no es muy profesional. pedimos de la manera mas atenta comunicarnos con el representante de los salvavidas para dialogar hacerca de lo que esta sucediendo. ENGLISH: Good afternoon my name is Ms. Connie, I am a teacher at Friendly Garden Children's Preschool. We provide a Preschoolar, as well as an After School Program. "Summer School" in the latter we do activities inside the institution and outside. Activities outside of it are visits to local parks, outings within the county as well as Los Angeles County. We have had incredible experiences in terms of customer service. Unfortunately we cannot say the same for "BROOKS STREET SWIM CENTER POOL IN OCEANSIDE" located at the address: (130 Brooks St, Oceanside, CA 92054). Last week one of our students was kicked out of the pool in a very unprofessional way. This week we decided not to take the boy and the teacher who was with him. It was a different group of students and the same thing has happened again. Now it is understood that the treatment they give to the institution is not very professional.
