I was originally booked here by Wyndham destinations and experienced a bag ordeal with them where my reservation was canceled and I wasn't advised of it. The person that I checked in with understood I was in a bad situation and did everything he could to help make it better even though it was no fault of his or his the company of Holiday Inn. I was provided a complimentary upgraded room which was very nice. I do have back problems as a disabled Marine Corps veteran and the beds were very comfortable. The water in the shower stays warm and it felt as though they had water softeners. Due to Covid, they isn't any personal room service, breakfast, and pool hours are reserved which IMO is probably better. The attendants that are on staff seem to be very responsive if any thing is needed. The rooms do include a mini fridge, microwave, and a pay to use safe if needed. The a/c gets extremely cold of you like frigid temp like I do. The beach is within walking distance and Camp P isn't very far either. I did like this hotel very much. My only loss of a star is due to the lighting conditions in the room. I vacationed while studying to enter medical school and felt as though the light on the room was insufficient for my needs. But I would still recommend a stay here!

Warm and helpful staff, clean rooms, great location Hospitality -excellent. From the moment we arrived and Britney greeted us with a warm welcome after long travels. Kid friendly gestures like getting a stuffed sting ray at check in will put a smile on your face. Remember courtesy is a two way street. Some reviews I've read about rudeness must have been a different hotel. Liserio, ground and maintenance, very nice, friendly and helpful with finding local places to eat Lesly , very kind and accommodating with us both at the bar at night and breakfast in the morning Clean rooms, fresh towels, hot water with good pressure (those who complained on other reviews, stop whining and wake up earlier/use less water) healthy food options. Sundry items for the beach and pool. Gym facility is clean and better than most hotels I've been. Free weights, clean thick mats for yoga and floor exercises, working elliptical and treadmill. Cucumber water and honey at the tea station are nice touches

I travel frequently and this is by far the weirdest Holiday Inn I've ever been to. Everybody at the hotel is very kind and does what they can but seems like management is cutting corners so the hotel is declining. Breakfast food was good but very linited options. I believe they are doing some gimmics to keep a 3 star rating when it's really not worthy of 2. Multiple days our rooms weren't cleaned but they did bring us new towels instead. Pros Decent location relative to the beach and harbor Kind staff Heated pool Cons Paid breakfast is more Cafe style No dinner at the restaurant. They claim a bar but it's really just a beer cooler and $5 budweiser. Ocean visable from top floor only Mobile home park across the street brought some questionable guests indoors Hottest hot tub I've ever been in Lack of regular maintenance No morning or daytime coffee in the lobby

To make it clear i did not get a chance to stay in there. I searched online where they advertised a promo , the location, reviews and price looked good to me, so i decided to give them a call and asked more about the room offered. The person who answered the call appeared to be from a booking department, did not know much about the room, and to my question whether the ocean would be visible from the windows, responded that he could not guaranteed that. Worth noting that i was asking for to stay beginning the same day I called...I asked, are you there? you would not know how room looks like? - we cannot guarantee which room exactly you are going to get but i can put in your request in a note. Then he started offering me an IHG (hotel chain?) membership , promising that for a member he would be able to offer an unbeatable price for the same room. Spending next 15 minutes or so collecting all kind of information necessary for that membership, he , visibly satisfied , then announced that he was about to offer me that unbeatable price. Yup, you guessed it right, it was $20 more than the price i found on the internet. To my question how that can be, the response was "you know the rooms are going fast, and the pricing are changing quickly as well".... But you spent most of the time on signing me to some membership that i was not really asking for...Well...[full bunch of b/s followed]. I hanged up. Money was not the main issue, but the bait and switch tactic performed boldly and primitively i have had not seen for a long time stopped my desire to stay in this place forever. Yes i am a curious person, and checked later at night - google search showed the same promotion price online as before, and the availability showed the same amount of rooms left....

This is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone, especially people with children. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the last five years. It was a nice little hotel in a convenient location close to Legoland and the staff was so friendly. Since the management change under the new GM Michael, everything changed. The rooms are dirty, you often find socks under the bed or leftovers in the trash from previous guests. The carpet is dirty. Our bathroom was not properly sanitized, and it smells horrible. When you enter the hotel lobby and hallway, you can smell cannabis. Towels are extra, no soap or shampoo in the rooms; you have to ask for them at the reception desk Many times they are out so guess what ...bring your own and be prepared to do the housekeeping job as well. Housekeepers don't come to clean your room anymore unless you request it. We did but never got a single service for 5 days. The front desk will tell you they are short at the moment. Most of all the worst is not the poor hotel experience but the staff. Michel is rude and has no manners, he can't handle situations professionally and after we addressed all of the issues his response was " Why do you stay here then ''.We checked our friends in and 3 hours later we have a phone call from the front desk letting us know that they made a mistake and have to increase our rates. Guess how they handled this situation? Option one you just pay whatever we tell you or look for another hotel on a Friday night with 2 kids. Sylvia and Michel are employees who obviously have no people skills. I hope nobody will have our experience and I'm continuing to contact upper management until they take further action against these employees who act like they...

The staff at this location were all amazing. From check in where they helped us upgrade our reservation to a second room to the meals that we ate in the dining area, to the help we received several times from the front desk staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Not only did the front desk staff assist us with our walks down to the harbor and beach - even letting us borrow beach towels and gifting us a beach bag and keychain that doubles as a bottle opener - they even helped us to keep the magic alive for our children as we were staying over Christmas morning and they helped us with a "magic key" that our family traditionally uses to help let Santa in. Great, great staff interactions made this one of our favorite hotel stays ever.

The room was very clean when we arrived although we did notice that the daily cleaning service was somewhat inconsistent.

The heated pool and the jacuzzi were so nice to have as we were there in the winter and were still able to enjoy these amenities.

The food we ate for dinner on the night of our arrival was delicious and our server was wonderful. The cocktails were well mixed, too! We also got some food to take up to the room one evening and the staff were super helpful and threw in a few little treats for the kids which was so kind and appreciated!

The few drawbacks were that the doors are not well sealed so a lot of light and sound leaked into the room from the hall at all times, none of the pillows were very soft, and the coffee we got each morning was always stale and burned tasting.

With those few, minor drawbacks we actually really enjoyed our little Christmas vacation here and have decided we will...
