California Welcome Center, Oceanside — Attraction in Oceanside

Center staff probably rudest group of people (professionals?) met on entire multiday, multi-county CA trip. Slandered my legal gender and freedom of speech about my Marine parent once stationed in area. Maybe this staff believes they're respectful "know it alls" of what's "good," "appropriate" about America. Communications indicate superb unjustified 'biases," "local centricity" and "undereducations" on their part. Maybe without adequate exposure to diverse Americans with different viewpoints from other American jurisdictions. At least printed materials provided informative. Prefer no posted staff response toward this review. Since this CENTER a quasi-public venue, wanted to notify other visitors of my encounter, be prepared for what staff may say to them...

This place is amazing....free magazines galore!!! LA..Santa Barbara..u name it they have North Cty and SD info. I go for the Oceanside books..Carlsbad..go exploring..it is a one stop shoppe for tourist and locals alike!!!!!!😍 Be informed for fun fun on the run!! Nice volunteers too. Some great gift items to take home too A well run... stocked place. On the outskirts of Oceanside. Going there soon to update booklets for 2020!!! I'm a local living in Oceanside and this is my go-to place to put together a bag of brochures for our out of state relatives to use during their visit with us. This allows them to pick and choose where they'd like to go. Even though I'm a local, the friendly staff still take the time to help me. During my visits, I still find out about new places to check out with my own boys during school breaks.
