Motel 6 Oceanside, CA - Marina / Camp Pendleton — Hotel in Oceanside

You're getting what you get with the motel 6. It's nothing to write home about, the service was excellent. You have to know how to deal with people, if you're not familiar with Southern California everybody minds their own business. Just do you, of course there's local walkers in the area though thankfully with LT the night security guard I've never felt more safe in my life being able to enjoy a smoke in peace and watch The view. We didn't have any issues with any of the local transients they went about their way. I genuinely felt safe with the security guard their. The rooms apparently are going to be renovated which is a plus.

You're getting what you get, if you just enjoy the view and the amazing location, you're getting what you pay for with motel 6. The front desk was friendly and helpful definitely ready to resolve any issues and the housekeeping staff was super friendly and did an amazing job with a smile on their face! The maintenance man and the housekeepers definitely good wholesome friendly people. And again I cannot say enough about your night security officer LT. he's definitely a blessing to your motel to keep your guests safe. Like ke I said I never felt more safe in my life (at any Southern California hotel) knowing he was keeping his head on a swivel and keeping the non-residents off the property away from our vehicles.. It's truly the perfect location to get to the harbor /pier. It's genuinely the spot you want to go to without paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for one night stay. We spent a week there and then some and had an amazing time. I will definitely want to get room 132 again, right next to the pool with that view of the harbor when you at railis beautiful.

BEWARE! This place is TERRIBLE! I travel a lot and have stayed at some pretty questionable places so by no means am I freaked out by below average accomodations, but THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE DUMP..

The staff is rude and really could care less about you . The rooms are in complete disrepair and are incredibly noisy. There are people living here full time (I should have noticed this upon further inspection) with sketchy dogs and shady characters everywhere, tweakers and trash all over. The people LIVING above me we're vacuuming at 2:35 A.M.! Loud televisions and conversations at 4:00A.M from all sides,. and I had to finally personally go to the office at 4:30 A.M. to speak with the guy (who could care less) to see what could be done, which was nothing.

There is loud construction in most of the hotel and dirt and dust everywhere and construction workers all over the place (living there as well) screaming and looking at you like you were an intruder. Someone actually left their TEETH, along with some actual toothpaste (for said teeth, I assume) in my room and I guess housekeeping missed that. How?! The next morning at checkout, the lady asked how was everything and I frankly told her it was awful to which she replied: Well, it a motel 6 what did you expect? I can't believe they charged me $80 to stay here. I had maybe 1/2 hrs sleep the whole night.

Motel 6 is by no means a luxury resort, but I have stayed at dozens of locations over time and have found it to be a good choice and synonymous with a clean, well-priced and quiet nights rest. Not this...

I recently stayed at your Motel 6 on August 31st.  I am extremely disappointed in the accommodations and lack of customer service received during the stay from Clem .

Upon entering our room 230, there was a huge spider in the shower area. We were tired, and went to bed without really checking out the room.  In the morning however was awoken by a roach crawling on us.  I used the bathroom only to pee and the toilet became clogged, that is when I noticed the mold growing on the bathroom wall.  I called the front desk to have maintenance clear the clogged toilet and they said no one was available. They made me go to the front desk and pick up a plunger to use it myself!  I attempted to unclog it but nothing was clearing, i called the front desk again and then he was told someone would be by after 9am. I would think that an unusable toilet would be considered and emergency and should be addressed as quickly as possible but Clem, working the front desk, seemed to have no sense of urgency and could careless that a toilet clogged with no real reason.

In the morning it was very clear the room had not been cleaned properly in a long time.  There was an eyelash on the floor, dirt around the AC , dead roaches and pieces of toys.

I am requesting a refund of my stay due to the health concerns from the visible mold and uninhabitable of lack of being able to use the toilet and hanging smoke detector, let me know if any other information is needed. I emailed this email several times but never...
