A top notch establishment. Safe and comfortable in every way. the class material was taught by highly qualified lovely men and women who truly care about every client. the programs directors have cultivated a culture of dignity and respect, where I was treated by all staff and clients with love and care. Rarely in any facility will you find the perfect balance of freedom and regimen as you do here. everything just made sense which not many facilities can claim. treatment plans are curated per each clients needs, wants and history; with comprehensive CBT, doctor visits for meds and other clinical assessments, yoga, one on one therapy, couples therapy (super hard to find in any other place) and opportunities for exercise and social events. they don’t force AA on you but instead support any program you choose to do to get better. the facilities are super clean and spacious. never did I feel like cattle being crammed into a small space like at other places, Lucid takes pride on actually focusing on a clients well-being instead of blatantly running the facility like a cash cow. Clients are prioritized as human beings and shown dignity and respect. not too mention being taken everywhere in a limousine and getting my nails done I mean where else can you do that? massages too omg! its like, typical day would be: wake up to home made eggs Benedict, go learn interesting facts about psychology, coping skills, arts, philosophy etc then having take out lunch, then walk along the beach, back home for hot tub and bbq, watch movies in a spacious mansion and snack on whatever you want, then sleep like a baby on a new comfy clean bed with down comforter and clean linens. All that aside, my therapist and I have had like those super productive talks where I feel like my happiness baseline is just a little higher week by week.
