I am from Florida and am here due to forced evacuation from Hurricane Irma, as such My experiences with the malls in Florida (which are always full of people) has brought an insight I would have never known, had I not evacuated to my son's house. This mall is quant and reminds me more of a mom and pop establishment. The few times I have been there, it has not been overly crowded. Which grants me the time to slowly look around at the different treasures the numerous shops have to offer. Every single person I have met working there has been extremely kind and provides you a sense of welcome as if you were an old friend not seen for many years. There are also plenty of places to stop for a snack, coffee or even meals. The Furr's restraunt offers such a wide variety of food with fabulous wait staff. It also offers all you can eat and has fresh made pies either by the slice or the whole pie to take home. But if burgers are your thing, then you need to stop by Fuddruckers as they offer different sizes of hamburgers from 1/3 lb all the way up to a full pound hamburgers! They will also inquire how you would like your patty cooked from rare to well done. Theirs fries are also some of the best I have ever had. Plus they also offer unlimited refills while you are there. There are several stores where even the most frugal person would be ecstatic because of the low prices. An example, as I arrived here with clothing suitable for Florida weather, I had to purchase winter clothing, I purchased 5 pairs of jeans, 5 long sleeve shirts and a really nice heavy coat all for $189.00 and that was WITH the tax! So you really can't go wrong shopping at the...
Read moreI thought it would be fun to go to this mall. We did not enjoy this experience. The first store we visited was "At Home". Most of the shelves were bare. We then went to clothing stores. The sales associates could barely speak English and had a difficult time understanding me. We arrived at the food court at 12:30 p.m. We were the only ones in the food court!!!!!! That is a good indication this mall has major problems. We chose a type of food. When we got to the counter, the lady ignored me and was speaking Spanish to a friend on the phone. We waited, and waited. That was fine at first because we were reading the menu. Then it got old. Finally she held the phone away from her ear and took our order. A man came from the back with the food. He fluffed the rice with an ungloved bare hand and then touched all the rest of the food on the tray. I am not weak stomached but I knew I could not eat it. I tried to explain to the woman that I had a child with me who has immune problems and I could not risk it. She didn't understand a word of English and neither could the guy that brought the food out. She had to call her friend and I had to explain to her friend that then spoke to her. Ridiculous!!!!! We...
Read moreWent because I've been looking for a specific item that a store said it had in stock but could not buy online. I traveled an hr to get there after working a 14 hr shift at work just to find out that they actually didn't have it. I left the store inside without purchasing anything just to get followed around by a mall cop. They couldn't have made it any more obvious after following me into 2 more stores that I went into because I was uncomfortable and suspicious I was being followed. Then to make matters even worse he switched out with a female mall cop who didn't even try to hide the fact she was watching me and spoke to a worker in the store I was in who then stood next to their door for the duration of my being there. I did have things that I purchased and when I walked out the worker walked away from the door and the mall cop followed me almost all the way out of the mall. I have no clue what I did to get profiled so badly. I literally went for one thing that turns out wasn't there so If I walk out of a store I'm automatically labeled as potential thief? I used to love going there but I doubt I'll ever step foot in there again. That was so humiliating and made me feel like crap when I had literally done...
