Fuddruckers — Restaurant in Odessa

It’s been a long time since I have eaten at a Fuddruckers and I am glad I came here. The burgers tasted just as good as I remembered. Juicy and flavorful meat that was very well cooked and seasoned. The new skinny fries were great. Super crunchy and had a good flavor and also perfectly seasoned. I loved the large to go cups. Plenty of soda and a good sturdy cup to reuse. The cons were, the place is dated the fresh burger toppings bar wasn’t so fresh. Everything looked like it was prepped the day before. The vegetables were wrinkled., I noticed the pico de gallo particularly looked a little old and had a transparent texture instead of nice bright and fresh. The cheese sauce that they are known for was not in a push button dispenser anymore, however in a soup container with a ladle scoop it out. The top of layer of the cheese was dried very hard and burned around the edges and the condensation from the lid above, drip down and left a layer of clear gross liquid on top. Half of the soda dispensers were empty were not working and the Diet Coke that I got had the worst flavor, I was unable to drink it. Also, the bathrooms were not kept very clean. Residual water covered the countertops and multiple used paper towels were wadded up and tossed near the trashcan, but ended up all over the floor and wasn’t picked up. The burgers were good enough to return and the price was OK so not disappointed and would still return...

We were excited to try, since we'd never been to one; but the experience was less than stellar. We found it to be expensive for what we received. We were willing to pay the extra for the buffalo burger (11.99) to try it and then paid extra for the toppings. It wasn't worth all that, because in the end....it tasted no different than beef. On top of the expense, my burger (1/3# southwestern) was undercooked and had avacado that still had naval on it, but not guacamole (as advertised) and I asked to substitute green chili instead of the bacon that comes on the southwestern. When I took it back to be replaced, I was given another burger that the patty didn't even cover the bun, less avacodo than the first time and no green chili (which was the original order); but they did give me fries instead of chips which was not my original order. The fries were tasty and onion rings were good, too! The fixing bar was nice, except for the rotten lettuce leaf left in with the rest of the leafy lettuce. So, 2 burgers, 1 onion ring, 1 bag of chips and 2 drinks was $34.00.

The staff was pleasant, but the ladies room was not clean; toilet paper all over the floor. My friend said men's room trash was full and sinks were dirty, but other than that, it was fine.

I just had an incredible experience at Fuddruckers, thanks to one outstanding employee! Despite the restaurant being short-staffed, Denita went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with a warm smile and promptly took our order, demonstrating not only efficiency but also a genuine enthusiasm for their work. As the restaurant filled up, I noticed how hard they worked, juggling multiple tasks with grace and keeping everyone happy.

Their attentiveness and positive attitude made a challenging situation feel seamless, and it was clear they truly care about the customers and the team. It’s rare to see such dedication and work ethic in the service industry.
