9/4/25: Horrible service with no one else there. Weary of non-English speaking servers that group up and talk, ignoring customers … and we were one only ones there around 1:30. Wanted Queso ($5.99) but would have to buy chips as well $2.00. So chips and queso would cost over $10.00 with tax and tip. Love the food, but poor service and high expense will certainly influence where I eat.
7/18/25: Received very good service today from Lizbeth. She was properly attentive, prompt and courteous. She managed not speaking English and my not speaking Spanish very well. Food, Daniella with jalapeños added, was outstanding. Hate paying for chips and salsa but I was asked this time if I wanted them before bringing and charging me $1.99 for them.
6/4/25: The review remains the same with no improvement. Good food. Fair, at best, service. Waited 15 minutes for ticket and to-go box while nine employees stood and visited in view and my server to be seen. Customer service training would make a world of difference.
Has the potential to be outstanding. Like Hacienda Vieja, he food was great, hot and prompt. However the service is far behind that found at Hacienda. I would consider the place to be quite slow. Walked in and waited to be seated in front of 4 employees and a musician. Finishing their conversation was much more important to them than greeting a customer. There was constantly 3-5 servers huddled around the work stations …. rather then tending to the few customers that were...
Read moreYou know a lot about a Mexican restaurant when they bring out the chips and salsa. The chips were ok but the salsa was way way too liquidy and was reminiscent of old bath water 🤮 A heavier or chunkier salsa would do this place right. Let's start with the appetizer we ordered. It's was a mix of different ceviche/shrimp & a few oysters. The regular style ceviche and shrimp were fine but they definitely could be more generous with the shrimp in the ceviche. Now we're I was taking back is by the sweet yellow ceviche/shrimp mix, it was way too sweet for me and the flavor was off. This dish also has a lot of pickled onions Incorporated in it, not a big fan. We also tried a combination plate with a Chile relleno, enchilada and a crispy beef taco. This plate was all around good. Everything was well balanced and tasty, it came with white rice which is ok but would have preferred traditional Mexican rice instead. We also tried the mini tacos, I got carnitas and the carnitas were good, they were a bit crispy and a bit juicy still as you'd want with well made carnitas. Beers were also fresh and cold, other drink were good as well, wait staff is friendly and attentive. This place is worth a stop by if you haven't been. It's almost just like the others that mirror this type of restaurant, some things on the menu are better than others. Worth trying out different menu items in and see...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to eat in Midland/Odessa area. The chips and hot sauce are great here. Fresh and warm and always crunchy with great flavor. The menu is large but I haven’t had anything bad yet. I went with the seafood fajitas this time. Plenty of food, I was stuffed.Tilapia was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The crab had good flavor and th shrimp as well. WY to many vegetables on the plate but they were tasty as well. Beans and rice were average but rounded out a good satisfying meal. They only downer for me is the wait staff barely if any speaks English which made it hard for us to communicate since I don’t speak Spanish, but I have become good at pointing to...
