I ordered my purchases online so I could avoid as much human contact as I could. This store is at a very big mall, two stories. So i was very outraged to find out, that not only is there rude customer service on the first floor but also the second. I picked up my order, I had to engage in the conversation since she was on the phone with whom ever but just so happened to hang up as soon as i got there. Didn't say a word until she needed my phone number. Doesn't sound so bad, right? Well I just so happened forgot to ask for a bag to put my purchase in.. but normally they offer, at least I would. I wouldn't let someone walk around the store with clothes in their hands without offering them for a bag.. but that's just me. So I walked to the ONLY customer service person who was open, she had a line of only 2, which whom have been standing there before and after I got done with picking up my order... I asked her for a bag, as she had just grabbed a bag for the other customer. She replied with "yeah there's a bag alllllll the way over there, where you just came from" lol!!!!!!!!! So I said "yeah no thank you, that's ridiclous you don't know how to help people" and I got a bag myself, THANK YOU. I proceed down stairs, stopped looking for some uniforms (for my child) I asked the lady if they had any jeans in size 4 for girls, since I just looked all over and there wasn't any. She said "no. They aren't jeans, they are slaaaaccckkkkssss." And hands me boy slacks, size 6 slacks, and asked if I wanted skirts. No ma'am, I want size 4, girl, slaaackkkksss. So thank you for a very...
Read moreThe store is woefully understaffed. I come in here fairly regular and there's never more than a single employee working a large area. Because of this many departments don't look much better than your average thrift store. The employees themselves are mixed. They tend to be either extremely friendly or extremely not. On a recent visit I had trouble finding a register that was either A) open or B) didn't have a line a mile long. I brought my purchases to the e-commerce counter where there was a younger dude who was smiling and happy to ring me up and an older lady standing beside him who was quite clearly annoyed I had dared bring my clothing purchases to her pristine counter. The situation sums up my experiences here. As far as the product goes they run excellent sales on clothing from time to time. They also have one of the best clearance sections in the entire mall. I also love their Sephora on the lower. It is THE place to buy fragrances in the entirety of the mall. They are laid out in convenient, easy to browse way and they have soooo many different bottles. It's a fine store overall. The employee situation though is a total Russian...
Read moreHad a terrible experience here. So while shopping with my kids, my six year old finds pins and other random trash on the floor in the clothing department. Being an imaginative 6 year old, I let her retain them. When we arrive at the point of sale, we began checking out. At one point, the employee notices my kid with the 3 pins (trash) she found on the floor and instructs us to tell her to give them to her. At that point I go into what I can describe as shock. My wife asks to confirm "you want the trash she found on the floor?". I realize I'm not in Narnia and this lady wants us to tell our kid to relinquish said trash. Then she instructs us 2 more times (3 total) to tell our 6 year old child to give her the 3 pins she found on the ground. At this point, I came out of my shock and decided I didn't want to spend my money at a what I can only describe as a "North Korean JC Penny" so I returned said pins to their natural dirt habitat of the dirt, poop, germ, bug, spit infested JC Penny floor and vacated its premises. If you're wondering, this story has a good ending.....we found everything we wanted plus some fragrance at DILLARDS....
