I like to grab coffee at this place every once in a while. It's a bit cheaper than Starbucks, and I usually don't have to wait in a long line, either, like I would at Starbucks. During my recent visit, I experienced such level of unprofessional conduct from one of the employees that it's simply too good not to share with everyone. Me being a man of Russian heritage, I get a lot of questions about my name. I was wearing my name tag for my job at the time of my visit, and the very young male employee, who appears to be roughly 17 years of age, asks me, "where you from, man?". After I told him where I was from, he proceeded to tell me that he doesn't like the president of the country where I'm from. That struck me as very unprofessional behavior, seeing as how it isn't his job to bring politics into play at work. His job is to serve me coffee. On top of that, he also recommended to me which presidential candidate I should support. Being a man who has a few years of customer service experience myself, I know what should and should not be said to a customer. After he checked the people out who were behind me in line, he came over and spoke to me yet again, this time stating how those customers were "talking a lot of trash" about me to him. He finished his unsolicited monologue by saying that "a lot of Russian things are whack". This whole experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I felt very uncomfortable, and discriminated against. This employee has no idea how to conduct himself with customers, and lacks basic courtesy. He definitely overstepped his boundaries by discussing something that should not be discussed with a customer. Also, if his political knowledge is limited to thinking that things are "whack", he should probably not discuss those things, since his brain is clearly not mature enough yet. Perhaps, he should quit his job and do quite a bit of growing up before attempting to provide customer...

After a few awkward minutes of being ignored we went elsewhere. Not sure why they hate their jobs so much, but perhaps they should do...
