OKC Sweets — Attraction in Oklahoma City

I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since I started following their Instagram account a year or so ago. The cupcakes are so colorful and the flavors sounded so good!

Well, I was on this side of town for a veterinary appointment for my dog so I found myself at OKC Sweets right after. ☺️

While they have other dessert options such as rice crappies, macarons, cookie sandwiches, etc., I decided on two cupcakes: strawberries and cream and tuxedo (a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and a dollop of chocolate on top). These were so delicious! I didn’t want to eat two cupcakes in a row so I even saved one for the next day and even the day old cupcake was moist and delicious!

I loved that you can see strawberries pieces in the strawberry frosting and that there is a strawberry compote/jam in the vanilla cupcake. The tuxedo cupcake had a wonderful chocolate flavor.

My only problem is the amount of frosting. There is too much for my preference, so I ended up removing half of it. Of course that’s just a personal preference, and it may be just enough for someone else.

Needless to say I’ll definitely return to try...

OKC Sweets made two cakes for my daughter's first birthday party and I was completely blown away by how BEAUTIFUL and EXTRAVAGANT the cakes were! Cakes tasted delicious too! At the party my guests asked me where I bought the cakes, I told them where and they were looking up the company because they tasted that good!!! My only complaint is when I made the cake order I added for the cakes to have flowers and macaroons on it. When I was sent a sketch of one of my cakes it didn't include macaroons, so I sent an email asking if it would have them and didn't receive a response back. When I went to pick up the cakes neither of them had the macaroons I requested and I'm not for sure if that was included in the new price I received. Overall though, good experience and...

Absolute perfection! This is my first custom cake and being 2 hours away everything was done through emails and phone calls. They were quick to respond and asked questions to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted. I didn't see the cake until it was unboxed and was amazed at the beauty! I thought there's no way a cake this beautiful is going to taste good, I was so thrilled with how it looked I wouldn't have care. I was wrong! It was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted! My husband just said to mention he's now addicted lol Everyone loved it and asked where it's from so they will be getting a lot more customers from around Ardmore.
