516 Farmers Market — Attraction in Old Bridge Township

These people are so rude. They charged my card and told me the trransaction was declined I PAID CASH. I went to my car check my statement and saw that it went through. I went back in the store and showed them but they said I had to bring them a copy of my bank statement. A few days later, I brought them my bank statement. He snatched it from me, walked away and called another guy. He looked it over and mumbled something to the guy. He gave the cash and short me the change. When I told them they short me the change he argued with me and put on his glasses and finally gave me the correct change. He wanted to keep my bank statement, I refused and cut out the transaction and gave it to him. They NEVER apologized for the error and were basically annoyed that...

This farmers market is well stocked and has great prices. Is is the biggest farmers market out there no? But if your just looking for fruit's and vegetable's then you will be fine here. The sign on the window does say Juice Bar, but I have never seen anyone with a juice. There looks like an "deli" type counter in the back that's used for storage (so I guess at one point they did make juices). I make my own anyway, but lost a point for false advertising. The place is clean and never had a problem with their produce. This is your typical small farmers market which is exactly what I need. If you need help though, there can be a language...

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this farmers market. The prices for the fruit were ridiculously high, especially considering the poor quality of the produce. I purchased an 8.99 watermelon that was mealy and rotted inside - a complete waste of money. The selection was limited to mostly over ripened fruit, and the space that used to be filled with fresh fruits and vegetables is now crammed with canned goods. This place used to be a true farmers market, but now it's just a shadow of its former self. Don't be fooled by old photos - if you need to make a soup, this is the place to go for canned goods and dry beans...
