Really amazing spot down town . Big open area and it’s not all the same things to look at . Lots to look at and lots of open space . It’s a really great spot to take your kids as they do have a playground too! It’s kept very clean and there is a rink that you can also rent roller skates or in winter ice skates from what I was told. They have lots of flowers around and trees and they do have shaded spots as well it’s not all straight in the sunlight. It’s an easy walk and fairly handicap accessible. We have kids under 7 and they walked fine with us on the paths. They do have restrooms near the park for kids not sure on other spots .

This park & monuments were much cooler than I ever could have imagined. So many near features to appeal to kids as well as adults that you can't just find at any old basic park. We easily spent an hour here but could definitely have spent more time if it was a warmer season and the water play features were running. Great view of the river and awesomely educational monuments. Tons of free parking right next to the park and bathrooms were immaculately clean for public bathrooms. You have no good reason not to make this a stop amongst your Omaha plans!

I was fortunate to be able to volunteer For the Berkshire Hathaway 5K run. It was a wonderful experience, the staff that volunteered was eager to help, the participants were excited to be a part of this community of people, and the weather and the venue were perfect!!! No rain while I was there for the weekend. This was a well planned event. Thank you Colleen, Suzy, Roberta, Oriental Trading, Borsheims, and that Aquaman Ironman, <== he is common referred to as ´The Bubble Man ‘!!

It was fun for the whole family! We came to Omaha for a visit during our spring break. We had some time to kill, so we were headed to the pedestrian bridge but saw this playground and had to check it out. We have 3 teenagers, a 9 year old, and my husband and I. We could have kept playing if we had more time cause there is a lot to do and we were all having fun.... especially on the big orange rocket looking thing and the tube slides. 😁 2 Thumbs up👍🏻👍🏻

The playground area here is top-notch, with lots to see and do. This place is great if you have a tribe who needs to expend energy. The scenery here now is vastly improved over what the old Asarco plant used to look like or even Rick's Cafe Boatyard. While there are several things here to keep children and families occupied, there are also adult swings too for those of us who just want to take it all in at a more leisurely pace.

this was the spot for a club photo Op! great views and plenty of room for parking for events. they have a pedestrian bridge going to the Century link center. (not calling it CHI center because it's not a health center it's a entertainment Plaza/arena.)located just west of pedestrian bridge leading into council bluffs, it is an awesome place to park and site see
