We came in at 630 on 4/24. I hope you'll require all your staff to read this review while thinking about how they would feel if this was their experience:
1). We walk in with 2 young kids and the hostess seats us at a high pub table while there are open booths all around. Barely greeted by the hostess (long fake lashes, grey sweatshirt). Acted like we were bothering her being there.
2). We were given no kids menus and only later found out they had them. Had our kid had them, they would've been able to order what they were hoping to order instead of what they didn't want. Our kid found them behind him and grabbed one for himself.
3). It took 20 minutes for a server to come greet us.
4). It took 50 minutes to get any food and our appetizers and dinner came out all at once. No one ever came to apologize for the delay or tell us the kitchen was backed up.
5). We came to a sports bar specifically to watch the Heat/Bucks NBA playoff game. They were showing golf. We had to ask 4 servers SIX times to put on the game and missed almost the whole first half.
6). When the food came out, we were missing a whole meal. Had to wait 15 more minutes to try to talk to someone to get it fixed.
7). Asked the hostess to talk to a manager. She rolled her eyes and sighed at the request and said, "I'll try."
8). Manager comes over, we reiterate our request for the TV station. She hurriedly rushes off to fix it instead of listening to the many other concerns we had that we never got out because she wouldn't listen.
9). The brussel sprouts were an inedible salt and parm bomb. Totally inedible though I tried because we were starving by this point.
10). Our kid tries to approach the hostess for help and is completely ignored. She treats him like he doesn't exist.
11). The entire time the servers are kindly trying to help (it was mostly not their fault), the hostess stood at the front playing with her hair. The kitchen was clearly behind but she didn't communicate with any of the tables. Had a pitcher of water next to her she didn't pick up once to help the entire time. She literally did almost nothing the entire time. She really should not be in the service industry at all.
12). Our waters weren't refilled until our kid had to ask. Our server then refilled my water with warm water that had been sitting there for an hour because the hostess didn't bother to help.
This was the worst dining experience of my life and as a travel blogger from Wisconsin, I've dined everywhere. I never ever complain, but any of you would be furious if this was your experience. Kitchen back-ups happen, but the lack of care and concern for your customers is absolutely unacceptable. The hostess should've been working the front, welcoming customers, handing out kids menus, working the front tables and doing service recovery and at a minimum, refilling customer's water.
Our server really did try her best in horrible circumstances and with little help. Our server comped two dishes at our request but I'm still livid about paying $100 for that experience. Mistakes and emergencies happen, but please train your staff to do better. I...
Read moreOne of our worst overall experiences in years. It really came down to the service because any issue we brought up was met with excuses rather than just saying sorry we screwed up. Our server's name was Dawson J, when he finally made it to our table, he took our drink and food order. Seemed to be on top of the order for the four of us. When the drinks were brought out the beers were not cold the margarita tasted watered down. The two Ice waters we had asked for were never brought out. We didn't complain realizing it was a busy Friday evening. But it only got worse from there thus the reason for me even writing such a bad review. We ordered two Jalapeno burgers with fries, cheese curds and the chicken nachos. I asked the server it seems to be a basic bacon cheeseburger? He said the jalapenos are infused in the burger. Both me and buddy didn't see or taste a hint of spice or jalapenos. The fries were mushy, and the Chicken Nachos didn't arrive. So, after about 15 minutes and seeing other customers getting served their Nachos. I had to go up to the server and ask what happened he came back with the excuse that the Nachos got mistakenly taken to another table he would put a new order in. I wait another 15 minutes have to go find the same server again I asked where's the Manager this is ridiculous. He promptly went straight to the kitchen and a minute or two later he brings back a plate full of nachos with barely any chicken and cheese on top. I'm like I don't see any salsa or sour cream which the menu clearly states it is supposed come with it. I'd seen other nacho order come back with sides so I asked the server why we didn't get the sour cream and salsa. He said, you have to request it. lol. I opened the menu and showed him where it clearly says that it comes with sour cream and salsa. You could tell he was embarrassed, frustrated and didn't offer to bring us the side items. What got me most is he didn't even ask if we wanted more drinks. He said instead, I’ll get you guys checked out. The fastest I’d seen the server move was from the time he had brought out our ticket to pay to the time it took to ask if we were ready to pay. We told him we were not ready to pay. He never asked what we needed, how is everything? Im 55 years old and have eaten in several establishments and always leave a tip. How much I tip normally very generous based on the service roughly 30 percent. This was the first time we didn't tip ever! The service and food was that bad. Had the server been more polite and no matter how bad the food and drink had been we would have left a tip. The place is not worth the...
Read moreI went back recently to this location. I did run into a bit of a problem which they did end up fixing. I didn't have to fight for it. They ended up giving me what I actually ordered as well as the accident that they had handed me.
The reason for four stars for the atmospher is because it's just not my kind of atmosphere. If you like the bar very casual vibe then this could very well be your five star.
The fries are great when they're fresh. Unfortunately ours weren't pipping hot and crispy when we got them. They were still good. Just not amazing as I think they could have been. The burgers are a pretty solid option for the price as they do come with a side of fries at least where lots of places do not offer this anymore and make you order it on the side. It's nice that you get to upgrade as well to whatever side you want.
Previous review Must have Wisconsin cheese curds? This is a on my must return list due to those amazing Wisconsin cheese 🧀 curds. They are what dreams are made of....
Pro tip: happy hour is a great time to go. We happened upon it by chance and ordered a lot. Great to save money. The pepper jack chicken nachos, which is on the happy hour menu, had an abundant amount of chicken. As was the salad (santa de) we ordered. The amount of meat was surprising but we were very pleased.
I did the berry hungover burger. I personally did not like it. If you like an overly sweet sandwich this might be for you. It looks like a sandwich because it wasn't on a bun. I did Google it to make sure it was correctly named and the requirement for burger did it had to be a beef patty usually with a burger bun (but it wasn't a requirement). It was also very messy to eat.
Cheese curds of any kind are also on the menu for a better price.
On Wednesday as well, wings are only .75 each. They came out piping hot. The banana bread Martini 🍸was fantastic, and you can't beat the happy hour price of $4. It makes a great dessert drink.
Our server knew everything on the menu and was great with suggestions. Parking minorly problematic. There is street parking that you can pay for (metered) and there is free parking but you need to walk a lot further.
Happy hour times: Monday to Friday 3-6pm Sunday all day They do have daily...
