Read moreI was really excited to go to a store with such a history in Omaha. But the store is very impersonal, and had three "sales people." Each one gave a robotic routine of sales and could hardly be more disconnected. When I said I wanted to just look around, they seemed very impatient and certainly did not want me around if they were not making a quick sell. One of the salesmen grew really impatient at my 5 minute stay (Heavens forbid) and asked me what items I wanted and impatiently pointed them out (probably so I could leave as efficiently as possible to get to a really big sale from a customer that would take less than ten seconds for a purchase). I would compare the sales team to used car salesmen. I don't like that sort of pressure to buy things that fast. It was like going to an online store while actually going into a store. A very strange and disconnecting experience. I saw that the owner wrote responses to other people's less than five star reviews (no responses to five...
Read moreWhile a bit over priced, the items I tried are pretty good. The roasted vegetables were good, but $17.99 for just four servings. The pulled pork was good, but a little less sauce might have let the pork flavor come through. We would have shopped for more, but the aggressive upselling attempts by Julio ran us out before we could look at everything. He was pushing the expensive pork chops. My mother clearly said, "No. That is too expensive!" We turned to do more shopping and when we turned back, the pork chops were added to our items. When I asked what these were doing on our pile, Julio said he thought we wanted them. I said he obviously works on commission and his upselling was having the opposite effect on me. He still insisted on following us and not allowing us to shop on our own, so we left. Definitely not worth a trip back. Too many great products at other stores that let you...
