This park is hard to ride, and has pot holes all around the park. There is a huge 20ft wide spine blocking any good possible flyouts in the main bowl. And the other bowls have coping that sticks out just enough to catch on your front wheel. There isn’t any flow to this park, which makes it hard to link up tricks, and maintain your speed. There is a nice roller that you can gap, but as soon as you go over it you are bombarded with a flat drop off that is about three feet tall near the channel gap bowl, this unfortunate, poorly designed feature makes you loose all your speed and ruin the flow of the park. The street section is slightly better than the bowl section but has really steep banks and a really bad quarter pipe to channel gap that was poorly made, and only has two decent ledges that are hittable out of the eight or more there actually are. The park would be way better if they fixed and patched the potholes and cracks of the skatepark. This park is one of the worst I’ve been to. I wouldn’t recommend going to...
Read moreOmaha's best skatepark, hands down. This is the park I grew up skating in 20 years ago, and the park I spend the most time skating in today. The snakerun here is the best snakerun I've skated in any park, allowing for endless creativity and flow, with new lines I'm discovering even to this day. The street side of the park is a lot of fun too, with a pyramid, ledge, quarterpipe, and bank forming a pit around a funbox, rail, and box in the middle. Lots of potential for fun lines if you've got the skill to skate the ramps...
Read moreAvoid the playground area if you’re thinking of taking children there. The equipment has been damaged such as a metal initial step being broken out and a wood board placed over the hole. The slide is broken at the base and a metal gate loosely blocks kids from immediately accessing it. Figuring the sand might be more hospitable I soon began noticing shards of glass from broken bottles in the sand where kiddos would walk and play. Basing my rating purely on the playground and not on the skate park...
