Clever American eatery serving an eclectic selection of healthy and tasty food options. Having had multiple lunch & dinner meals here, it is easy not to have the same thing twice. The Hummus & Bruschetta starters are lovely & delicious. The homemade salad dressings...particularly the red wine vinagrette are divine. A nice feature is being able to order half portions with 2 sides. Be sure to take your time reading the menu as there are daily specials and soups featured. Order at the counter- self serve drinks (they make homemade smoothies) then your order is delivered to your comfortable booth or table. The owner & staff are very friendly and eager to please. The atmosphere is clean and cleverly appointed. Being an actual Foodie I rate the café a 4.5...but the service bumps it up to 5.

It was pretty good. Reminds me a bit of Panera (without the bakery), or maybe what you'd get if you crossed a Chipotle/Qdoba with an Applebee's. You order at the counter with a nice variety of food options. Focus is on sandwiches and salads, but options like pasta and enchiladas are also available. Pricing is reasonable. Food was a bit above average, but not really memorable. Note, they close early-ish, with no specific closing time posted. They were putting up chairs at like 6:30pm on a Wednesday night, and said something about closing at 7pm (it wasn't clear if they meant the patio outside, or the restaurant).

Coke products...great !!! A bit pricey for a soup and sandwich $12.00 (no drink). The tomato soup had a great flavor, the ambiance was pleasant, I feel like the employees should be in some uniform other than street clothes and pay more attention to the customers than conversation between themselves. The chicken salad was ok, nothing special.

I am writing this on here because from what I am reading, the owner doesn't seem to care too much about customer service, so I feel as though calling in a complaint would be disregarded. I have gone to Foodies or eaten food from there 5 or 6 times and the food has always been very good! My friend is obsessed with the crunchy dill chicken salad and wants to get it whenever she gets the chance! It is quite a good salad despite the obviously canned chicken they use for the salad, which is totally fine, except for the salad costs $10... Anyway, the customer service has never been great, takes a while to get your food, and the cashiers are just generally not super nice, but I had a particularly unpleasant experience last week. I called ahead because I was in a rush and they usually take forever to make your food. Asked the girl on the phone if I could get this particular salad in the half size, she said yes and so I ordered one half salad and one whole, she said it would be ready in 10 minutes (they didn't ask for my phone number, just my first name). I got there on time, if not a little later so they had more than the 10 minutes they claimed. I got to the counter and there was a woman standing preparing food and so I just patiently waited at the register for someone to ring me out. In walked in a man, who I later found out is named Dwayne, and he came to the register and just greeted me with "you the one who called in?" No hey, hi, how ya doing? Which is fine, that isn't always necessary, just good customer service in my opinion (someone who worked in the service and retail industry for 7 years). (by the way, this is all paraphrased and he was immediately using a rude tone and continued to the whole conversation while I started the conversation and continued through most of it with a calm and understanding tone) Anyway, I said "Yep, that's me!" he said "We don't offer that salad in the half size" and so I said "oh, ok! the woman on the phone said that you did, so that is why I ordered it" and he said while he pointed to the menu "well if you look on the menu it isn't there and she didn't know" and I said "oh, well I didn't look at the menu, I just trusted what the woman on the phone said" and he said "well, if you look at the menu, it isn't one of the half salads we have. You can choose one of the half salads we have on the menu or you can get the whole salad." I told him I would just get the whole salad and said "Is the whole salad I ordered ready?" he said "no, it takes 10 seconds to put together..." in a condescending tone, so I said "ok. gotcha." he rang me out, I was surprised at the price of $23 and some change for 2 salads and a can of soda, but continued the transaction. Afterwards I did not say thank you, as I normally do, because I was frustrated with his attitude. He said nothing more to me and walked away. The woman brought me my salad and I asked for the guys name, which I don't normally do because I usually just let things like this go. I know how hard it can be to put on a happy face in customer service if you have other things going on, but he was rude and condescending the entire interaction and didn't even say thank you after I paid almost $24 for 2 salads and a pop that weren't even ready on time. I gave them 2 stars rather than 1 since I've never had a bad experience with the quality...

I was next door to Foodies doing business, smelling a wonderful smell coming from this restaurant. I asked the employees how they liked the food. I asked specifically about Vegetarian food. They gave high reviews. When I left, I decided to give them a try. As I walked in, an employee was finishing up with a woman who had just placed her order. This employee left the restaurant immediately after, perhaps to go on a delivery?? There was an individual making the woman’s order that I could see. I stood there for about 10 minutes . Not once did this cook acknowledge my existence. I even moved where I was standing hoping to be seen. Nope, not acknowledged at all. I finally gave up and left. This is 3:30 on a Monday. Perhaps the door should be locked if the only person that takes orders leaves to do orders so others time is not wasted. I was very frustrated and disappointed that I wasted 10 min and was never helped. I can’t recommend going here unless you can waste a lot of time hoping to be waited on. Too bad, it smelled...

Would not accept my loyalty punch card to receive a free meal. They "have a new system." Not my problem. I visited the requisite number of times and got my punches in order to receive a free item, so the restaurant should honor the system they had in place, even if they don't use that system anymore. Punch card had no expiration date or terms on it. I was told there is no way to transfer my punch card to the new system. Really? There definitely is, you just don't want to. This is extremely poor customer service!

Despite the food being good and me having chosen Foodies many times before, I won't be back based on this one bad experience. This place had a chance to do the right thing and honor their own system, and doing me that "favor" would have cemented me as a loyal customer. Instead they wrote me off, did not offer a solution, and have now lost me as a customer. Plenty of other spots with great salads and great service. I'll be taking my...
