The food was reasonably priced for an all-you-can-eat sushi spot. The sashimi was fresh and nicely sliced—thin and delicate. However, some portions like the inari and tamago were noticeably smaller than standard servings you'd find elsewhere, having been cut in half. The sushi rolls were decent in flavor, though the excessive amount of rice made them less enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the service. Upon arrival, I let the hostess know it was our first time dining there. She was friendly and welcoming as she seated us. But once our server realized we were interested in the all-you-can-eat menu, their attitude shifted—they appeared irritated and less attentive.

We began with a small order to sample different items since we weren’t sure what we’d like. From there, the experience became impersonal; most of our food was delivered by a robot, and we didn’t see a staff member for quite some time. Eventually, a different server—whom we hadn’t seen before—refilled our drinks toward the end of the meal. When we handed over another menu to place a second order, they again seemed annoyed. That order was also delivered by the robot, and we were never thanked or acknowledged as we finished and paid.

Overall, the experience felt cold and disconnected—something I’ve never encountered at a sushi restaurant before. For an all-you-can-eat place, it was fairly standard in terms of food, but the lackluster service makes it a spot I’d only consider for a quick, no-frills meal rather than a quality...

I came here with my children for dinner. In fact it was one our favorite places to go. But today was not good. The girls five seconds we sat down and my 1 in a half year old was swinging her legs. I admit it was making slight thumping noise and I grabbed her legs to try to get her to stop. Her dad even started telling her to knock it off but was interrupted mid sentence by the older lady. I think she runs the front she got down on our 18 months level and said stop kicking the seat! Mind you there was no one behind us and she never gave us the time to correct her this was in the first minute we had sat down. Her dad and I were both uncomfortable but let it be. We continued eating our food and my baby hit the button when we told her too. My five year old got excited and then pushed the button afterwards. To which the waiter immediately came up looking annoyed and said just push it once. I replied and said you know what cancel our food and just get us the check. We left early and in the middle of our meal because we not only felt embarrassed by getting belittled by the staff. But also frustrated because we the type of parents who correct their children’s behavior but we were never given the chance because the staff felt like they could correct our children for us. I do love their food but I would say if you have children they might not be as...

I recently tried Ajisai Sushi and I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint. I was in the mood for a few smaller items, so I had the crab Rangoon, shrimp tempura, and miso soup. Each dish was flavorful and well-executed—the soup had a rich, comforting taste, while the tempura and Rangoon were delightfully crispy. I particularly appreciated the different dipping sauces provided, each one complementing the dishes perfectly. I also tried the Taro milk tea with tapioca pearls—it was good, though not necessarily the highlight of the meal.

The dining experience was also unique and enjoyable. A little robot delivered my food, which was a fun touch :) The only exception was the soup, which was hand-delivered by the server, as it probably should be. I really liked the level of service here. The staff is attentive but respects your space—there’s a button at the booth to call them over if you need anything, which I found refreshing. I’m not a fan of constant check-ins when dining out, so this setup really suited my preferences.

The only downside was that I had to take my bill up to the front register to pay, which isn’t a huge issue, but I prefer being able to settle the bill at the table. It’s a minor personal preference and the only reason I docked a star...

New Japanese buffet restaurant in Omaha near 78th & Dodge! We recently tried a new Japanese buffet restaurant in Omaha, and it's quickly become our favorite! The ingredients are always fresh, and the food is absolutely delicious. Both times we've visited, we've enjoyed an amazing selection of sushi, sashimi, and a variety of appetizers. Today, we decided to try their sweet dessert drinks to take home, and they were fantastic! Made with fresh fruits, these drinks were the perfect refreshing treat. I highly recommend this Japanese sushi restaurant. Don't wait—come give it a try! You won't regret it!
