Called GameStop was told they had digital PS5 411.09 with warranty and everything. It took me about 15 to get to store. I asked the young lady for PS5 she said we have but I can’t tell u a price our system updating I said I just spoke to a lady on phone and she said 411 for warranty and all. She stated yes but our system updating I said how long it takes your system to update she said a few minutes. In less than 3 minutes the system was updated the guy in front of me had 3 games they had quoted him one price he was in store before I arrived at register she told him price went up when system updated. When I got to register she went through getting all my information then I said why this game showing 508.00 what’s wrong. She said Oh it went back to full price when system updated and I had to add warranty.. This was just a scam they were running because it was Christmas Eve I literally plan to never go there again. Just lying to people and taking advantage of people never heard of people being quoted one price even the one’s in the store and when they get to register it changes. Read moreI bought a brand new game this morning. It required 38 GB two be able to play the game from the disc. It would get to 30 GB and say he can’t install. I tried this process in many different ways because it has happened to many people and they had different solutions. I called GameStop to tell them that I could not play the game that I bought from them and I spent eight hours trying to get the game to copy to my system. This review it’s not about the game it is about the person who answered the phone and said that I cannot return the game I can only trade it in for a loss. I watched one of the employees belittle somebody because he couldn’t remember how he took his headphones off when the customer was asking a question about quality. The same person later pushed a credit card on 2 people that didn’t want it. I was trying to sell a retro console and games. The employees told me the system was defective and was only giving me refurbished pricing. The system was making loud noises due to their faulty equipment.
