Waffle House in Tiger Town Auburn, Al I had a issue with my order where i place a togo order on a sunday during the busy hours after church... when i got home i realized there was a mixup with what i had ordered, I messaged the store via the Waffle House App and this is what happened, Tempra(Unit Manager) and Sergio (District Manager) reached out the next day with nothing but the best intentions and that was to make sure i was able to be completely satisfied and be able to get what i needed... Tempra reached out with her personal number and said Hello I am ... and i understand that you had a issue with your order, she then listened to everything i had to say and asked me what she could do to keep my business... i then told her i just wanted her to know what happened and that i wasnt looking for this or that but even then she offered XY&Z I realized then that SHE is a person who cares about the people who come to her establishment to enjoy the time with family and friends... She went above and beyond to make sure i was 1000% taken care of and now will only be a customer to her location... The other Waffle Houses are rude and always in a rush to get the customer out so they can play on their phones or smoke a cigarette, her location is almost always on point with all their employees being nice and personable and point... Read moreI stopped here yesterday for breakfast while riding my motorcycle from Albany, GA to Saint Robert, MO. It was a chilly 39 degrees. I sat down and waited quite a while before my server (Shay) dropped off silverware. I waited a while longer until she returned to ask me what I wanted for breakfast. I ordered a coffee (because I needed to warm up) and a Hashbrown bowl. I waited a good while longer for anything. At any other place, the coffee would have came out right away. NOT HERE! They bring it when the food is ready. After getting my food and drink, not once did she stop by to see if I was doing ok or if the food was good. Hell, I had to push my coffee cup to the edge of the table in hopes they would get a clue and refill it. They did but it took a while. Only because she dropped off my check at the same time. I got up to pay after I was done. I stood at the register for quite some time watching people walk back and forth doing pretty much nothing but busy work. I finally got fed up and just left the check and cash on the counter. When I was at the register, I did notice a large family arrive and sit close to where I was sitting. When I was getting on my bike to leave, I noticed that same family getting up to leave. Food was par for a waffle house. Service was a close race for the worst service I have ever received anywhere. Read moreThis place has problems. I politely asked Billy to remake my waffle after putting his bare, unwashed hand inside the dish. He was doing it but was upset. I tried to converse with Billy and Dianna, but Dianna was very rude to me. I commented that everyone has been in a bad mood and combative today, and she said I must be the "common denominator" if it was everywhere I was. I just wanted a waffle for my kid and was trying to be friendly, but they were standoffish and rude. When I asked why they're being rude to me, Dianna told me I "need to sit down right there" and wait for my waffle. When I responded that that was not a very nice way to speak to me not a good way to speak to any customer, they said I can go somewhere else and they wouldn't serve me. I had already paid and had to request my money back, which they gave me. But this was uncalled for and very professional. They have no idea what their customers might be going through or who they might push over the edge with their abusive, unfriendly behavior. They should not be in the customer service business. Waffle House seems to think it's so popular that they don't have to worry about being professional and courteous to all customers, like they can be rude to some if they feel like it and nothing...
