What a great place, great meal! I don't give many 5 star reviews, but this place earned one. Smoked turkey was excellent, moist & tasty. I'm a big cole slaw fan, first time at any BBQ I try the cole slaw, and it is fantastic at Full Moon, quite possibly the best I've ever had, and I've sampled slaw at hundreds of places. Big shout out for an exceptional slaw. Pulled pork was excellent. Mixed with the slaw, one of my favorite BBQ tastes of all time. The staff were polite and efficient and helpful with all my questions as I was traveling through the unfamiliar area. Atmosphere is nice - very clean - and the place is literally wallpapered with Auburn Tiger images. I'm not an Auburn fan, in fact I'm a Texas Aggie, but kudos to Full Moon for supporting the local team.

First time here. Pretty good food fast! Had barbecue pork and black Angus beef brisket plates with Mac n cheese, squash casserole and for an additional charge onion rings and loaded baked potato, 2 waters... $45. A bit pricey but not terrible. Wanted the baby back ribs but they didn't have any which is why I gave a 4, that's what I went there for. Also, for a southern restaurant I need an actual piece of cornbread or corn muffin, that teeny tiny one is just a tease. The squash casserole was ok because I like squash but could do without the casserole part. Mac and cheese was good but would have been delicious if it was actually hot. Barbecue sauce is excellent! I would probably go back and try again for the ribs.

I was looking forward to a great tasting pulled ,bbq plate. Came away disappointed. Absolutely no smoke flavor at all and the bbq sauce was just OK, nothing special. The advertising for this chain flaunts that the Huffington Post and Ebony magazine touted them one of the 10 best bbq joints in the USA. Sure didn't live up to this boast with me. The Cole slaw was outstanding, the potatoe salad good but a bit on the sweet side, the Brunswick Stew was good and also had a sweetness with okra and green peas which is a bit different than others I have tried. Try it for yourself. The atmosphere was great and i enjoyed seeing all the Auburn and Alabama sports pics. It's mostly a self service restaurant.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The worst treatment I have received at any restaurant evere and by the owner of all people! This owner does not deserve your business. He can't even spell customer service. Please read the details of my experience.

I went with my family, including 3 small children, for a nice dinner out. They're food is good, and I usually don't have any trouble in the drive-thru, accept occasionally a long wait time. We've also been inside before. It's a little pricey. So of course you'd expect good treatment. This was 7pm and we waited about 10 minuted for two parties in front of us to order. It's a wait in line, order and prepay kind of place. When our turn came, we we're taking a little bit of time to order, but it was still less than 5 minutes. They were becoming obviously annoyed as I looked at the menu, asked questions and added to my order, one plate for $10-12, then another for $14. The owner came up to check the cashier's screen, take the order of the one solo man standing in line behind us, then check my order screen again. The cashier seem to not care to engage too much. He answered my questions but was mostly not helpful, silent and starting down at the screen or counter until I asked a question about the menu. The owner seemed to be upset that we came to his business to place a big order.

The menu advertised a vegetable of the day, squash casserole. I was told they're out of squash. I asked about corn muffins, which we love, but sometimes they give us corn rocks instead of corn muffins, and sometimes they're overcooked. So I specified I only like fresh, soft ones. The owner snapped back in a snarky tone, shrugging his shoulders and raising his voice, "Well that's all we got." I asked are you cooking more, he said no they're not cooking any more, at 7pm with customers still walking in...groups of customers... customers who deserve better.

As we were eating, most of the food was good, but the corn on the cob had absolutely no flavor. We all agreed it tasted like nothing! We had 2 sides of it with one or two bites taken to try it. I asked if it was possible to get something else instead, since the corn had no flavor. The cashier said, "sure." But when I brought the corn up to return it, the owner interrupted our transaction asking, "what's the problem?" I simply replied that it's not good, and we didn't like it because it had no flavor. As I was giving my answer, the owner made a blatant angry/annoyed face, as if we'd been demanding, difficult customers all night. (I'd done all the talking and been super nice, asking and politely informing of my preferences.) He took the two corns from my hands gently, but then proceeded to violently throw them into the nearest trash can, then turned back to me and snarked, "We'll bring it out," in a nasty, snarling tone. I wish I'd caught that on video. It was grossly inappropriate and immature, unbecoming of a 60 year old man presuming to offer a service to our community.

I don't understand why they thought they could treat me this way. I am very upset about it, and I'm going to make sure everyone in the company knows, as well as any members of our community and any travelers. I hope I can prevent such abusive treatment from befalling other innocent restaurant goers. Dine with caution, and be ready to fight for a decent meal. I'd suggest you go across the main road to O'Charleys (they've always been good to us) or up the street to Chick-fil-A. You'd spend so much less and get a better experience. You can get a BBQ sandwich at Cook Out or another BBQ place in town. There are several others I haven't tried. I was a repeat customer here, but they just lost my future business and my...

Went in for a interview October 18th,2024 at 4pm and walked up to the front to tell the Assistant manager “hey I have a interview at 4” he’s said “well your gonna have to wait” I said “ok I’ll sit over here” 20 minutes go by I go back up to the front and say “hey my interview was 20 minutes are we still on for the interview” He looks at me in disgust and rolls his eyes like I’m the problem and walks off. So I’m I’m like um ok that was odd so im waiting at the front still for him to come back im trying to ask again he walks off again I wait some more he keeps walking off like im irritating him! So finally the General manager comes up and is like “sorry for the wait if you can just fill this out I’ll get to your interview” so I walk back to the booth and thought about it and I just walked out. The Assistant manager was beyond rude I don’t understand how you can be so nasty at that ripe of an age it’s sad I couldn’t believe how he acted towards me it was completely disgusting and bad behavior for as old as he is you should be nicer. I thought this was going to be a great job the food smelled great and the girls at the front seemed friendly but that Assistant manger was very disgusting and rude and unbelievable. He could of simply said “hey I’m the assistant manager but the general manager will be right with you to do your interview” that would of been way better because I completely understand it’s 4 and people are coming in for dinner, but the way he acted just turnt me completely off he shouldn’t be working there or anywhere that involves customer service he has...

The only two consistent points we found at FULL MOON BBQ was it was always the most expensive and has the most anti-customer management in town. One day their ribs are amazingly good and the next they are horrible. Great service and order accuracy one week, then the next you might grow a beard awaiting your order to come up (granted they had issues but we have waited over half an hour to get our food at lunch there before after multiple errors. The manager has twice given the same inexcusably rude response to very poor food quality delivered (at the highest prices in town, remember) and have had a complete lack of professional awareness and courtesy displayed twice more from staff and management upon delivering the WRONG FOOD ITEM! I eat BBQ two to four times a week and after embarrassing me in front of an entire work crew I brought there to eat by screwing up orders and brushing off my team back waving his hand in his face and walking away from him as he's explaining what was happening... final straw anyone? Overpriced across the board, poor consistency, intolerably unprofessional management, slooooow kitchen, and too many other options - BBQ and otherwise, so I joined everyone where I work and none of us ever go there any longer. Go to Bent Creek Road one exit south on I-85 and hit Moe's BBQ (or Bow & Arrow) over there or head north to Butcher's Paper...
