SCAM SHOP, BUYERS AND SELLERS BEWARE!!!!
A good friend of mine needed to liquidate some of the precious metal they had been collecting for many years. We walked into this shop expecting a fair and honest price for the collection. Without getting into tooo many details, it was a "jaw dropping experience". The one thing about precious metals there is a market price in which we can use as a tool to understand some basic current value for what we are selling. The employees that night were friendly. They took in the metals weighed them tested them and in about a half hour they offered us a price so far below their value that we were insulted. First off when I asked how much everything weighed they got a little irritated, looked away from me and searched for a way tov lie to me but couldnt. IM not sure if there are laws protecting sellers from greedy shop owners but regardless. The offer was less than 1/3 of the real value. When I asked why they were so incredibly low all they said was "they need to make a little money". I disagree a little money isn't the majority of value of my friends collection. We walked in off the streets and lay a golden egg in their laps and they want to basically steal the whole thing. So....I kindly thanked them and we walked out a little angry and lot insulted. Across the street is another God and Silver shop different owners. I had done business with in the past. I got ok prices from this shop. Having to start the process over again wasn't fun but we did it. After meticulously testing each item we had a offer it was twice that of what was given at Aimers Jewelry and some of the pieces they were going to take in weren't even pure they had no precious metal at all. This just shows hoe unprofessional they were. After some negotiating we walked away with cash totaling 4 times the amount offered a Amiers Jewelry, so buyers and sellers both need to beware of this scam shop. God forbid someone in my family go there to be scammed out of their hard...
Read moreI searched all over San Bernardino to find someone who could appraise my grandmothers fabulous jewelry that I had inherited and found this wonderful place. My grandmother had very eclectic taste so there were many different types of items, and I had no idea what was real or fake or valuable or worthless. I was helped by the owner, and he was very knowledgeable about all of the different styles and explained to me what was valuable and what was not. I was very pleasantly surprised when he told me what he would pay for the items that were of value, and I felt like they were going to someone who truly appreciated them! I recommend San Bernardino Gold and Silver...
Read moreThis was my 3rd visit to a cash for gold type place and the first one who actual valued the silverware i had at a fair price. the first two were pretty shady but Amir and his partner were honest with me. There was a bit of confusion at first but we worked through it. My advice for anyone looking to trade in their silver or gold is to understand what they have. Because I was able to have a conversation about the pieces I was offering and had an idea of the silver weight and the spot price of silver we were able to negotiate. Out of the 3 I visited Amir's was the best price at the...
