Omar de la Vega has being able to create an amazing atmosphere that transports you to an authentic Mexican Cozy restaurant! From the tasteful decor to the volume of the music was perfect! The playlist brings back those joyful memories of me growing up listening to my mother play her music while she cooked me breakfast is what really hit home for me. I came here to celebrate my Mother in law's Birthday with my Fiancé, and Father in law and it was the best choice I've could have ever made. My father in law and mother in law are super picky about going out for breakfast but they both left this amazing experience with great comments on everything they saw and ate. The cafe de olla was delicious with the perfect heat and sweetness the best Cafe de olla I've ever had! The staff standing on the sideline looking at their guests to ensure no needs went unnoticed made me feel like I was in a Michelin star restaurant. All the staff neatly groom, clean dressed, very polite and best of all FAST! From the time of order to receiving our entrees was less than 7-10 mins or even quicker I think. Nothing felt precooked it all tasted freshly made it felt like they had an army of chefs making our dishes with that kind turnaround. The silver was polished, the tables were squeaky clean, the plates and glasses complimented each other nicely with the authenticity of the decor and ambiance. Which made you enjoy your dishes even more we were able to communicate with each other without having to yell and even listen to the beautiful music playing in the background. You can hear the chatter of the other tables which you can tell guest were laughing, smiling and simply enjoying themselves. As we finished our meals the staff whisked away our dishes without having to raise our hands or tell them so it was great! I can sit here and describe what each drink each dish tasted like and made my tastes buds come alive but you simply have to go for yourself and try this place I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! If you don't leave here pleasantly happy and wishing for your bed because you are leaving with a happy tummy and food coma then you have zero tastes buds and you may be better suited for a loud music playing leave you deaf with blend food type of restaurant. Finally I want to thank all the staff for surprising my mother in law with that beautiful birthday cake (which is not frozen it looks and tastes freshly made yum!) and for singing happy birthday to her. Feedback on Our Recent Visit to Jardin

Dear Jardin Team,

I am writing to share feedback regarding our recent visit to your restaurant in Orange County this afternoon, which was a special occasion for us as we were celebrating my mother’s birthday.

Firstly, I would like to commend the quality and presentation of the food. The dishes were delicious and truly deserving of a 10 out of 10 rating. The flavors, attention to detail, and overall culinary experience were exceptional and left a positive impression on our family.

However, despite the excellent food, our overall dining experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the service we received, particularly from the female host. We had been forewarned by friends and family who had previously visited Jardin about her inappropriate behavior, unprofessional appearance, and unpleasant demeanor. Regrettably, our experience mirrored those warnings. The host repeatedly interrupted my mother while she was still eating and attempted to remove her plate prematurely, which was both disrespectful and uncomfortable.

Towards the end of our meal, the situation nearly reached a breaking point. A young male server noticed our discomfort and approached us to inquire if everything was satisfactory. I candidly expressed my concerns regarding the treatment we had received and asked if the female host was the manager. When informed that she was, I questioned why she would treat customers in such a manner and made an unfortunate, yet spontaneous comment questioning whether she had a relationship with the owner to feel entitled to treat people that way. The young man apologized promptly.

Shortly after, I received a call from the restaurant’s female manager, who confronted me about my remark. This confrontation, rather than an apology or attempt to address our concerns constructively, was deeply disappointing. It is disheartening to witness a restaurant that excels in its culinary offerings being undermined by poor management decisions and an unwillingness to acknowledge and remedy customer grievances.

I felt it important to bring this matter to your attention, in the hope that you will consider these comments seriously to improve your customer service experience. An establishment can have the best food in town, but exceptional hospitality is equally essential to ensure patrons leave satisfied and...

An absolute experience for all the senses. I would stress that waiters or menu truly amplify to all guests that if anybody adds anything like eggs or toppings which all guests prefer that always guests knows before they proceed there will be a hefty charge several dollars added. With that aside, hopefully rectified as that was the only inconvenience, everything else was an amazing experience coming here. Their steak chilaquiles was delicious because all the trimmings were added and the crunch the creaminess the spiciness the rich flavors the fresh ingredients the generous portions all guaranteed anybody to experience greatness, which makes me wonder if all the entrees will pack that surprise? Their hot chocolate was absolutely interesting with so many flavors that all elevate the drink. I would say anyways that the sweetness was not overpowered and so I would get that toned down. Their cafe de la oya was a showstopper. The coffee was not overpowered and the piloncillo did not overpower anything and the ratio was right on the nose. This is a must buy. My daughters pancake bacon and eggs was delivered first and looked textbook. Jardin is absolutely an amazing experience worth adding to anybodys maybe top 3 of all time especially how theres so many breakfast spots. But for now having a preview this week this goes to top of the list for me as Number 1 best breakfast in all Southern California hands down. It smells great there. The visual decor is top notch. The curated list of smooth Latin tracks playing in the background was excellent. The restroom is so rustic and beautiful. I would not be surprised they respectfully earn a Michelin star if not a Gourmand Star because once influncers and the professionals come experience this I just hope more locations sprout and doesnt get too overbooked or go the route if increasing prices that turns many away like some super nice places have chosen to do.
