My family and I were invited here for a birthday party last weekend. Upon entering the place didn't seem to large and made me wonder if a party this large could be held here. The check in/lobby area is small in nature, but what you don't see at first is how they book each party and move people through their reservation. So for a 130 party all your guests check in and watch the safety video. Your host then gets the kids "hyped up" and let's them into the first bounce room. I believe you get 30-40 minutes in the glow in the dark bounce room. The first room has a good three to four bounce houses with some inflatable games like basketball. When time is up, lights come on and workers come in and begin sanitizing the jumpers. I am not sure if they physically go inside and spray them down, but I would hope they do.
You are then lead into a bigger bounce room with 3-4 more larger bouncers. You have about the same amount of time to play in this room as well. Adults were playing inside the jumpers as well. Music is also played so you don't just here a bunch of screaming kids. It's a free for all, so there is no line or que for kids to wait. Social distancing is not present here. If you are concerned I would wear a mask or have your kids wear a mask. We brought our own sanitizer and reminded our kids to be cautious of where they placed their hands after climbing. The equipment and jumpers seemed clean and of good quality. It didn't seem like the equipment was old or dirty. The staff were friendly and the building was kept cool. Could you imagine 20-30 kids and adults bouncing around in a hot enclosed building. That would surely smell! Anyway, after the last room you are lead into the pizza room to celebrate with the birthday girl/boy. You can bring your own food I believe and you can buy pizza from BounceU. There is a TV in there in which staff play a slideshow of pictures taken during the bouncing time. I thought that was cool to see everyone watching their kids having a great time.
Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely think about hosting my kids party here. Of course I didn't look at the prices, so there's that. But from what I experienced as a guest, I would recommend this location for your next party. Also not too far from Disney, DTown...
Read moreThis is our 3rd party here at bounce U. When I booked my party I was told they were under new management. To start off, The girl at the front checking guests in was very pushy about singing waivers. I understand they need to be signed but she kept telling me I needed to fill them out for everyone. I explained to her that their parents would be filling them out, I am not the legal guarding but she kept insisting that I do it. When she was handing out wrist bands to my children my 2yo niece reached out her hand for one too and she told her "you don't get one until you fill out a waiver." She needed to address her guardian, not the little girl, her grandma was standing right next to her, it wasn't like she wasn't around. Next, when the guy who came to help unload the car told us that we didn't need 2 cases of water; he kept insisting we wouldn't need more than 1 case but we know how much water our guests go through. I told him l'd rather bring it back to the car when the party was over than to have to leave the party and walk to the car to get the case should it be needed. He became upset and yanked the case out of our car and brought it inside.
Inside the jump rooms everything was fine and the food room everything was fine, until it was time to pack things up. We had about 8 water bottles left over when we were leaving and they tried to convince us to leave them, then made comments about how they didn't understand why we wanted to take the water we brought in home. First of all, it's OUR water, we paid for it, why would we not take it home? Second, it's not your place to make remarks about what I want to take home if I brought it and PAID for it. Lastly, when we paid our remaining tab, we paid cash. We had some change left over but the guy kept asking if I wanted my change back. Of course I do! "Even the coins?" They're already getting a hefty tip that THEY themselves add on, and anyway, after you the nasty attitude I got from the staff at check in I wouldn't want to spend a penny more. Staff was young and the ones at the front desk and in charge of things need better training in how to address adults and children as well. We will not be returning here again, EVER. And I hope they understand that our guests who also witnessed the way they talked to us will also not...
