This spot is the ultimate wedding venue. We could not have been happier with our decision through the entire process. Not only is the venue full of unique characteristics that will set your wedding apart, but it is functional to meet your needs whatever they may be. Some of the unique characteristics are the history of the venue, the original wood floors, the beautiful restrooms (and plenty of them!), the well-appointed and gorgeous bridal suite with its own bathroom, the huge windows to let in natural light, the bright and elegant lighting, and of course - the utility elevator that can be used for a surprise entrance! The functional attributes are its excellent climate control, high ceilings, good acoustics, optional divider drapes, lots of bar space, an industrial kitchen with prep tables & a large refrigerator, an ice maker, and the list goes on – but these are the amenities we found most useful on our day.
As if that is not enough, working with the venue coordinators was an absolute joy. Shalese and Robert are responsive and accomodating, as well as (most importantly) available to their couples on the day of the wedding. Shalese works hard to collaborate with your whole vendor team to provide you with a seamless and organized event. She has a no-sweat attitude that makes for stress-free preparation and execution.
If you plan on a large crowd and a big party, this is your venue. Logistics were a breeze thanks to ample parking and clear signage. One thing I would note is that this is a very large space, so with a small guest count you may find that it is too big for you. We had 130 guests and at some moments the crowd seemed thin, mainly due to the fact that our tables were dispersed to fill the space. A major positive when it comes to the dining portion and the comfort of your guests, but if you prefer an initmate space it doesn’t quite check that box. I can only speak to the reception piece since our ceremony was not at the venue.
Overall, we really have nothing bad to say about our experience with Madison at the Mill. It was an absolutely beautiful reception and our guests were blown away by this venue. It’s neutral enough to compliment any style, while still making a statement of its own. Just the best! If this venue is available for your preferred date, book...
Read moreThere is so much to say about this venue and the people that make it so special that you honestly need to book an appointment and see for yourself!
My wife and I got married here in June 2021 and it is a night both us and our guests still talk about. From the beginning of our planning process we knew the venue was the foundation for our big day. We ended up canceling all other venue appointments after stumbling upon MATM and truly knew it was the one before we even saw it in-person.
Functionally, it is exceptional. Beautiful, open space with incredible natural light. A separate ceremony space with a seamless transition to the reception space. Ample amount of bar space at the main bar with an additional second bar. We had about 140 people and used the main bar for drinks and the second bar as a dessert table. For our buffet dinner, our caterers did not need to bring any additional tables. The bar is stocked with sinks, ample storage space, and a full service ice bin and full fridge/freezer. With the functionality brought the convenience for our vendors as above and our guests being able to take the shuttle to/from the venue to nearby hotels and just be in one space - that felt like multiple spaces due to the openness and high ceilings.
The vibe is one-of-a-kind because of its authenticity. Original hardwood floors, handmade tables that need minimalist decor, farmhouse doors, chandeliers, exposed beams, Edison lights, and vintage furniture all come together to create a vibe that’s unique and fitting for all styles. The bridal suite is spacious and great for getting ready; with ample storage space, mirrors, and a private bathroom convenient for wedding day. The bathrooms! Grade-A and unique in its own right. You will receive many compliments about them and if that attention to detail doesn’t tip you off that they are quality, please see attached photos!
Last, but not least Shalese and Robert are such pure souls and you will be very well taken care of before, during, and after your wedding with these two. You’re making a mistake if you pass this place up and don’t seek guidance from them for your special day. They, and the Madison at the Mill, will...
Read moreMadison at the Mill has an unexpected WOW factor and is the perfect combination of industrial, elegant, and romantic. From the gorgeous hardwood floors to the unique lighting, this versatile space easily fit our wedding of 200 people. They have farmhouse tables and round tables that were too beautiful to cover with linens. They had enough chairs to cover both the seating for the ceremony and reception for our guests. The bridal suite is SO luxurious that the HMUA were raving. Even the multitude of bathrooms are incredibly unique and clean. However, the best thing about this venue is the venue coordinator, Shalese! She was incredibly helpful, flexible and accommodating. She goes above and beyond to make our event special. We sincerely recommend Madison at the Mill and could not be more grateful to Shalese or be more in love...
