Great Wall Restaurant — Restaurant in Orange

Horrible customer service, food was tasteless, cold and incorrect. I called to request a refund for an order that they messed up and instead I had a very negative experience. The female that answered the phone was argumentative and insisted that the order was correct and denied a refund. It was my first interaction with them and will now definitely be my last. My advise...don’t waste your money. There are better places that will respect you as a customer and your business in Orange.

To clarify again to what you responded. We did not take it for granted that you all didn’t put chicken in the dish. We ate from the container and gave you the benefit of the doubt that there was chicken at the bottom. I didn’t dig through the noodles by hand looking for chicken. Obviously we ate it and realized there was no chicken in it. It’s one thing if it was a cold dish, we would have figured that out right off the bat and maybe could have brought it in. Also, you should learn to honor customer service since we got 3 separate orders and told you that only the one dish we mentioned was incorrect and the lady who picked up the phone refused to listen and argued that it was made correctly and kept talking over me. Secondly, take into consideration that a “take out”order is not being eaten outside your restaurant. We don’t live in orange and home was an hour away. Trying to bring the dish back would have cost us more money and hassle on top of the unessarry inconvenience caused by your restaurant to begin with. Also, address phone etiquettes with your employees and/or it’s shameful if she was the owner. Bottom line we will not be returning and don’t recommend you to the community atleast not until you step it up on the professional front and improve the quality of your food. I love this restraunt, I understand the COVID-19 restrictions are in order, and these folk here do a amazing job. I come here once a week for my dinner, and the food is delicious. The food I order is never burnt, or soggy and their food is scrumptious and fresh, I recommend giving it a try ! As for their COVID-19 protocols, they are up to date, face masks are required here at this establishment and they are really good at keeping space as it should be. I've been coming to this place off and on over the past few years. I always get the lunch buffet. I'm under no illusion that this is "authentic" Chinese. But if you want plenty of tasty food for a reasonable price suited to the American palate and concept of Chinese food, then this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty clean. The interior is rather dated and looks more like a country kitchen. So if you're looking for "Asian restaurant" ambiance you won't get it here.
