We visited to see the Troll art exhibit and walk the grounds, but were lucky enough to the get a peek inside the Fogelbo House. The house is a Steiner log cabin, built by Henry Steiner and family by hand from 1938-40. Henry Steiner was a local craftsman that build numerous cabins in the Mt. Hood area and lead carpenter for the construction of Timberline lodge. Ross Fogelquist, who lead the visit, was very kind.
