Kensie Nails Spa — Attraction in Orlando

I just wanted to share my experience. My grandma, whose English isn't her first language, got a refill gel with the protective base. I am unsure whether she was the "owner" of this establishment, but this lady was very impatient with my grandmother. She told my grandma multiple times to relax her fingers, sure as an artist, I understand that can be frustrating. But for her to constantly do heavy breathe and constantly grabbing my grandma's fingers to keep it still was NOT OKAY. I told her to kindly please wait as I had to confirm whether she wanted her polish to be tip only or full coat. She got frustrated and bang on her table, I KINDLY told her to wait a second! she replied with "well I' m going to polish the whole nail." That reply got me frustrated and I told her to wait a minute. As my grandmother was putting her hand under the UV light, she accidentally hit it, another frustration. This "owner" customer service is the reason I am writing this review, which I never do. My experience and her unprofessionalism is not 100% not okay. In the end, she constantly wanted to reassurance for her design. On top of that, she took a picture of her work, again to get reassurance and confirmation of her work. I love this nail salon(previously Brie’s nails)! I’ve been coming here about every 2-3 weeks for the last 6 months and every time I’m so impressed. Everyone is so nice, and very accommodating. I started out getting pedicures and a full set, and have since moved onto dip manicures now that my nails are finally long enough to use my own. Vivian has done my nails most of the time and she has been wonderful every time. Regardless of how busy they are, she always takes her time and listens to what you want. Their pedicures are divine, and they have the best massage chairs I’ve ever had the pleasure to sit in! Again, no matter how busy, they really take their time to take care of your feet and toes. They have everything, including massage and hair and waxing, and though I’ve only taken advantage of the nail services, I imagine everything they do is wonderful. I always walk out feeling pampered and taken care of. The ambience is lovely with the nice art and peaceful piano music, as well as the extra little massage they do on your hands and arms at the end of a manicure. Highly recommended for all...

I have been going to Kensie nail salon for 9 months. I’ve had a great experience until today. I called to book a pedicure with Annie (she’s wonderful by the way) and I was scheduled an appointment at 1:30. I asked twice will she be available at 1:30 and I was told yes, I confirmed literally 3 times on this phone call on my way. I walk in at 1:31 and she’s in the middle of a pedi. She jumps up and comes to me when she realizes it was me and asked if I could come back in 25-30 minutes. No, I can not. My day is jam packed, I can’t wait 30 minutes. This is why I have an appointment! So disappointed. They knew she wouldn’t be available at 1:30, why couldn’t they be honest and tell me this? Had they been truthful that she wasn’t available, they would have my business. Because they lied, they will not have my business again. Such a shame. I literally drive 30 minutes to come to this salon passing many other nail salons on my way. Do better...
