Very unfortunate when you go to a public park and they close the splash zone for a private party I didn’t even know it was possible to reserve a splash zone then we all should reserve it!!!I brought my kids to the splash pad and we were turned away by staff because it was closed for a private event. It’s a public park, so that was really disappointing. There was a sign, but we didn’t see it until after we got inside. I wish they posted this online or gave better notice — my kids were excited and left upset. Public spaces should stay open or be communicated...
