I was driving to the store and trying to call to see if they closed at 5 or 6 p.m. as I found two times online. They wouldn't answer the phone after I called three times. Traffic was horrible due to rain but I wanted to go anyway. I get there ten minutes until close and start asking for prices of items from the guy working there, as no items had prices. He kept talking with his associates and he was agitated when I kept coming back to him for pricing on only three items. Not sure of his name , but when I asked about an item's price five minutes until closing and he touches my sleeve and starts pointing at his watch; you just lost my business. Literally pointing at his watch and tapping it. You can get lost sir!!! I just drove 45 minutes out of my way from home to come to your place of business, in horrible weather and traffic and you're trying to get me out. Not sure who the owner is, but when I come in to a store and am ushered to leave your place of business before closing, I'm deeply offended. Not only was I about to drop over $1500 on patio furniture and other Home Depot items, its upsetting. I shouldn't have to wave cash in a store owner's face. Maybe its a regional misunderstanding for me, but where I grew up, if I had done what this gentleman did in my town working at Menard's, I would have been fired on the spot. I won't return there or recommend shopping there. There are so many other liquidation warehouses in Orlando where I've had positive experiences and recommend highly over this place.
1 Star Loss = Website and times don't match name of store.
2nd Star Loss = Terrible attitude and refuse to answer phone.
3rd Star Loss = Touching my sleeve and tapping your watch, reminding me to leave because you are...
Read moreI had a horrible experience there last week and to make it even worse the manager there was absolutely inexperienced and had trouble communicating and just understanding in general.. which blew my mind because she was the manager. She was aggressive and spoke unprofessional which is unacceptable for a manager . Clearly there was a misunderstanding with pricing I was told one price from one of their employees and then when I went to check out it was a different story . It became so weird quickly with this so called manager. Telling me that’s not the price and that the employee that I’ve seen there multiple times doesn’t work there and he doesn’t get paid and that he’s donating his time and doesn’t represent them but is working in their store 😳 It just felt like excuses and way 2 much information to tell a customer (So weird and unprofessional)Then she goes to call the boss and forgets ab us for like 20 minutes comes back still aggressive and unprofessional and told me I had to leave the store.. I couldn’t believe it .. I’ve never been treated like that. Listen at the end of day I was going to still purchase the item .. I’ve would’ve appreciated even an extra $5.00 off for the inconvenience and misunderstanding and just the sense that the manager cares ab the situation as she should as a manager that represents this company... but the situation was handled so poorly by her that it turned into a...
Read moreI started buying pallets 3 weeks ago. Steven is fair and a straight shooter in my opinion. Yes these are Lowe's return items so if course there will be items that need work, but if you are smart and are willing to get a little dirty there is room to make money. Buying and selling return items is a risk and it's not for everyone, but these guys are not running a scam, nor are they picking through the merchandise. You will get a mix of items that are basically brand new and were likely returned because the customers used the items once. You will get stuff that may need work or are missing parts and yes you might get some stuff done that is beyond salvage. Again it's not for everyone. Show up and you will have the same opportunity as everyone else. Steven is running a legit operation but again this is a very competitive business and there are risks. I plan to continue buying from them. For me the rewards have outweighed the risk and the price per pallet is more than fair. And they are not cherry picking or repalleting. They post sales the night before the truck gets there and it is shrink wrapped right off the truck it came in. 5 stars from me as this can be a brutal business and in my opinion these guys do it the right way. Thanks from mack with MMM...
