Fashionably Late
I've been to Wall Crawl several times and it's an amazing space and a lot of fun. I always bring with me friends, acquaintances and clients, as well as promote it on social media and recommend it to followers. The first two times I went, they were very hospitable. The last time I went, they weren't. If you are interested in going here, I'll explain what happened and give you tips to follow as well as tips for the management. I left my car at the Mall at Millenia and took an uber at 5:25pm. The place from Millenia is just 10 mins away, but there was traffic. I arrived at 6:10pm (though according to the receptionist it was at 6:08pm, and that's just when I entered the door). I went to the restroom, and also changed clothes. With all that, I started taking pictures at about 6:15pm or 6:20pm. Before I knew, the session was done. We weren't even done with half of the space yet. The receptionist basically kicked us out, insisted on us to buy the next session, and when I refuted that I bought an hour, she said that I bought a session. A session has an hour, but whatever. Literally she came downstairs and kicked us out, in the middle of OBT. When we were leaving, she rudely told the people coming for the next session that she needed to sanitize and that food wasn't allowed. This adorable little girl had a sealed tray of heart-shaped cookies, that obviously weren't meant to be eaten, it was a prop and she denied the food and left the mom and two girls wandering off too. When the next session started, I went in and told her that she should at least let us make up for the time we were late, and she basically called us a liar and said I arrived at 6:08pm and that it was per session. So, I guess, the second you enter through the door, your sessions starts. Great. I said I wanted to speak to the person in charge, and she came out and said "he said you could do the 8 mins instead of having a conversation with you." Ouch. I did the remaining mins only for my friend, because it was her birthday present, it was her first time there, and what a first impression. If it were up to me, I would've left with my dignity and probably throw the hand sanitizer at the rude receptionist. Now, if it's only per session, upon arrival she could've said "Hey, just so you know, since you arrived late, I remind you that it's per session, so you only have until 7pm, so I would suggest maybe be a little be quick or just focus on the walls you want". No. Instead of dismissing and kicking out, she could've checked to see what could be done. Not saying I'm right, because they have their rules, but the rule of thumb is that the customer is always right, DO NOT CALL YOUR CUSTOMERS LIARS. Being a Public Relations Practitioner, this is very bad. She looks like she worked at a call center previously. So, if you're going to Wall Crawl, leave with at least two hours prior to your session, go with your own car, there's a bar next to it that could be your safe haven. Go to the restroom before your session. Go in before you take any pics to select the walls you will use, and that way, if you're gonna have changes of clothes, it's easier for you. And don't be late. Remember, it's per session,...

Read moreWe just want to thank you all again for a great experience. We visited last year and our son was very shy around Santa. We gave up and told Santa to leave and visit other families, but he didn’t. He patiently stayed until our son warmed up to him. We were so happy to see him again this year, and our son was laughing at his interactions with the other kids the minute he saw him. He is so wonderful and knows how to create memories for the kids AND get amazing photos at the same time. We really appreciate everything you did for social distancing and cleaning. We look forward to making our Santa visits an annual tradition. We felt very safe and comfortable here and we thank you so much!
Update: we just visited for our third year of Santa. We still cannot recommend this enough! It feels like a nearly private experience. Each time slot is never overbooked. I feel so safe with how much space there is. Santa does such an amazing job to get socially distant photos that look natural and fantastic. More than that, Santa knows how to do that while telling stories, funny jokes, and anything to make the kids smile. My son is still very shy while talking to Santa. If we were to go anywhere else, I know we would have one photo of him looking upset. Here at Wall Crawl, Santa takes his time to ensure there are plenty of photos, but also to ensure that my son leaves having fun visiting with him.
Update again: we have completed our visit for the 4th year in a row. We still have nothing but incredible things to say about the Santa experience. Our son (who was too shy to speak to Santa a few years ago) was ecstatic to tell him all about his holiday plans. We have an infant this year who wasn’t too happy to be posing with a stranger, but Santa was thoughtful and patient, taking so much time with her until she warmed up to him. We were able to get lots of incredible photos with both of them. You can’t get this experience anywhere else. No lines or wait times. It’s never overbooked. It’s worth every penny and we look forward to...
