I was asked to try this place out and give an opinion of what I thought they're offering was. I have only had one other professional massage in my life so this was a chance for me to try another. making the appointment was easy enough. I called in and was given several times and picked one that worked for me. When I showed up they were expecting me and after filling out some cursory paperwork, I was taken into the room within about 5 minutes of arrival. MaryCarmen was my masseuse and she did a great job. She explained exactly what would happen before we got started and what would be used during the massage. I thought initially that a 60-minute massage would seem to take forever, but was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the time passed. They used a combination of atomized salt in the air, aromatherapy and massage. Between the oils and the salt my skin was incredibly soft when we were done. on the way out they let me take pictures of some of the other rooms that they have there. They offer reflexology, colonics, and relaxation therapy. They have several rooms that have salt flooring where they allow children to play in a salt environment or relaxation for adults. The building itself was a very clean and very well maintained. The staff was great with communication and offered to answer any questions I had before we got started. if you enjoy a unique massage experience I would definitely recommend this place. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible

I absolutely adore the Orlando Salt Room! My absolute favorite indulgence is their Colon Hydrotherapy sessions using the state-of-the-art Libbe open system. I've been enjoying the benefits of colonics for over two years now, making it a regular part of my weekly routine. But that's just the beginning of what makes this place so special. Sitting in the Salt Room is a true delight. Within minutes, I can feel my lungs and sinuses clearing, and the comfort of their zero gravity chairs often lulls me into a peaceful nap. It's not just for adults either; they have a dedicated area for little ones to play in their very own Salt Box. I've also treated myself to a massage in the salt room, which was an incredibly relaxing experience. And while I haven't yet tried their infrared sauna or LED Facials, I'm eager to explore those options soon. Additionally, they offer acupuncture and sound therapy, which are on my list of wellness activities to explore. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the professionalism and genuine care exhibited by the staff. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and attentiveness. The spa-like atmosphere is a bonus, with its pristine cleanliness and inviting ambiance. I can't recommend the Orlando Salt Room enough. Whether you're seeking relaxation, rejuvenation, or simply a serene escape, this is the place to be. Trust me, your experience here will be nothing short of exceptional.

I am a first time customer and scheduled a facial on my birthday. I live in Oviedo and thought I was scheduling with salt room in Oviedo, but on arrival there found that I was scheduled in Orlando. My confirmation text did not state the location. I explained this to the receptionist at salt room in Oviedo. She took my deposit per company policy, however, for a brand new customer I would have appreciated more compassion and understanding because mistakes happen. I understand the person performing the facial could not book another customer on short notice, but had I been allowed to simply reschedule and not lose the deposit, then I would have gone another time. To lose my deposit and then pay full price for a rescheduled appt for a first time customer is not good customer service. The receptionist also stated that they do not send confirmation texts, which is not true as you see in this photo. If you’re going to have a the same name for multiple locations, then the location should be specified in the reminder text.

Disappointing Experience with Alicia's massage at the Salt Room

I recently had the displeasure of receiving a massage from Alicia, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. Despite explicitly requesting a deep tissue massage and having paid for this specific service, Alicia seemed completely disinterested in catering to my needs as a client.

Right from the beginning, it was evident that Alicia was not paying attention to my preferences. As I voiced my desire for a deep tissue massage, she appeared unresponsive and failed to acknowledge my request. This lack of attentiveness continued throughout the entire session, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied.

What struck me the most was Alicia's apparent disregard for communication. A fundamental aspect of any massage experience is the therapist's ability to listen to the client's needs and adjust the treatment accordingly. Unfortunately, Alicia seemed more preoccupied with going through the motions than actually tailoring the massage to address my concerns.

The massage itself was mediocre at best, lacking the intensity and focus that one would expect from a deep tissue treatment. It felt as though Alicia was simply going through a routine without paying any attention to the specific areas that required more pressure and attention.

Moreover, the ambiance of the session was affected by Alicia's lack of professionalism. Her disinterest in providing a personalized experience left me feeling undervalued as a paying client. I believe that when someone pays for a service, especially one as personal as a massage, they should receive the level of attention and care that they expect.

In conclusion, my experience with Alicia's massage service was far from satisfactory. Her failure to listen to my explicit request for a deep tissue massage, coupled with her overall lack of engagement, left me with a sense of regret and disappointment. I would caution others considering her services to think twice before booking a session with someone who appears more interested in going through the motions than providing a genuinely tailored and attentive...

I cannot say enough good things about this business! Being new to the area, I have been searching for a small, locally-owned spa for massage therapy. I passed by the former location and sent an email to inquire. Making an appointment was so easy. Nora went above and beyond to get me an appointment as soon as possible. I felt bad she called me so many times offering a cancelled appointment to me and I had to keep turning her down!

When I did make it in for my massage, I was immediately drawn in by the atmosphere and positive energy. The staff is so kind and caring about every person who comes through their door. The waiting area is nice, especially the more private one. And seeing the kids play area for salt therapy was so cute!

My massage therapist was Ariel, and I can say without hesitation or exaggeration that it was the best massage I have ever had. The pressure was perfect, the manipulation with her hands was unique and seemed to target my most tender areas. The salt therapy, and aromatherapy, during the session was very invigorating and relaxing at the same time, almost like I could actually feel healing taking place. When I moved off the table, after the session, all my muscles were completely loose, ALL of them. I have never experienced such a relaxation of the stress and tension in my body before. This lasted for over 48 hours! I have some areas which do need attention to maintain, and I have a desk jobs, so I did expect to tighten up again, but that time without tension in my muscles was amazing. I cannot wait for my next session!

Before I left, I checked out their varying product lines and found several I have started using and are phenomenal. The glycolic face pads, the Amber and Bourbon body oil, and the Pisces candle are all fabulous. There were so many more products to choose from!

Before I left, I inquired about their membership and decided to sign up. What they offer, especially the variety and affordable prices, is just too good to be true.

I have found my new spa!!! Thank you to everyone there for creating such an atmosphere of...
