Pro tip: Free street parking on N Eola Drive 8 AM to 6 PM, for up to two hours. This is also the shortest route to the Lake Eola pagoda, and not too far from one of the park’s public restrooms.
This is a must-visit spot to get great shots of the Orlando downtown city skyline, with beautiful tree lined walkways, swans, turtles.
Another notable spot is the art sculpture Muse of Discovery across the lake. There is an outdoor amphitheater that’s very colorful, but the seating area is closed to the public except for events.
There are casual restaurants around the lake as well, and you will not be disappointed with the different shots of the Orlando skyline framed by beautiful trees.
Come early because it gets really hot and humid, or in the evenings. There was also jazz music playing on the outdoor speakers along the walkways when we were there. Great for families (there is a playground for kids too).
