Not a bad place for festival. We went to the wine fest and it was pretty well organized. Plenty of wine and trinket vendors. Parking was limited due it being in a shopping and hotel area complex but we went on a bus so we got door to door service. That was great!!! They did provide shuttles though.
I must say the port-o-potties were extremely clean and placed nicely by the food area.
The food vendors were limited but food lines at popular trucks made you think about how long you wanted to wait and was it worth the wait. Prices were good so depending on your wait time, the selection was good.
Only drawback was lack of places to sit and actually eat and rest by the food.
They did have areas in the middle where you could sit with umbrella tables but they appeared to have to be reserved well in advance. So this issue limited the options where you could sit and rest abit before proceeding with the rest of your day. We did not notice anyone monitoring the reserved tables so if a table was reserved and empty, you had no way of knowing if the people left, never showed up, or just didn't want the table and seats anymore. That was annoying.
Music was great! Good selection of live entertainment and not so loud that you had to cover your ears or yell to your friends to hold a conversation.
We had fun and enjoyed the day. Not sure if we'd go back as we want to try other venues. We went...
Read moreThe amount of care, communication and attention that these wonderful camp counselors give to these kiddos at summer camp is so impressive and appreciated. My children since day one have said nothing bus great things about Steam Pump Ranch, the camp staff and the experience. Mind you this is like a 95% outdoor camp, the kids are entertained outside from 7:30am and I have yet to get a complaint from them about the heat or it being boring. Thank you for taking great care and attention to the kids and the ranch! Would highly...
Read moreThis is a great place to go with family. The farmers market on the weekends is also fun. Occasionally there will be community events here, with food, face painting, petting zoo, hay maze etc. There is a garden and recreated dwelling of the native Hohocom people who used to live here. There is green grass and shade trees. There are historical buildings here which are closed down, and more of an eye sore. Despite this, we love coming here with the family throughout the week and on...
