Street Taco and Beer Co. — Restaurant in Oro Valley

I've came to this location along with others (Park Place and Congress) for a while. Very pleased with their food. Came in to order since I was in the area called their number and got the voicemail. I wished to place a curbside order since I forgot to bring my mask with me when I left home. I came into the restaurant and stood at the door to social distance. I explained to the employee I forgot my mask at home and could I simply tell them my order pass the card/cash and either bring my order outside or I can come back in pay and immediately leave. I was denied service and asked to leave. That I can understand it’s an establishment so they can deny service for not wearing a mask. My issue however a guy was sitting in the corner inside area with no mask but yet I was denied while offering a solution to not put anyone at risk by standing more than 6 feet away. Seems to be favoritism here and blatant disrespect when one person can SIT DOWN inside no mask but a customer who wants to patronize with respect for the employees health is denied. Management should be made aware if one person is denied but another is not shows true...

I am maniacally eating these tacos in my hotel and I am getting my phone all dirty to leave this review and let me tell you, these are truly some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I’ve been driving across the country for two months and I can’t tell you how hard it can be to find good street tacos even in primarily Latino neighborhoods. I no longer had hope, but I hadn’t slept in two days so I guess I decided to give this place a shot and wow, I’m so glad I did! I got 2 chicken tacos and 1 steak taco on corn tortillas street style. They have a bunch of salsas and other condiments which was a nice surprise and all of them had a ton of flavor. Everything tasted very fresh and really made with love. The system here is similar to a cafeteria. We were newbies there and announced that to the person taking our order and making the final food. The day that my wife and I ate a late lunch there, the service was brisk and hurried. Not a place for newbies, if there ever is a time for them at this restaurant. The overall attitude of the staff and level of the food was menza-menz to put it realistic. If you can annunciate your order in the first 20 seconds after walking through the front door and getting on line, and your palate can sift through the various combinations of flavors and sents which are derivative of the cuisine and cooking process, you are good to go.
