They do not take responsibility in what they say. I lost a receipt for an Office Max product that was more than $100 that i put warranty with when i bought it. I called them and they told me they could make or find a new receipt for me so I can exchange my product for a new one. They told me it would take about 2 business days to create a new receipt to email to me and I waited. They never sent it to me so i called again, they said the same thing. More than a month passed like this and when we called again, they told me to go to a local office max store and ask them to fix the product for me. When I went, the manager said she could not do anything about it and she called the Office max helpline and they told us that they have never said such thing and that they couldn't make me a new receipt. I find it unacceptable because they shouldn't have told me something that couldn't happen in the first place. They did not claim any solution whatsoever and left me speechless. Their service was rude, irresponsible, and very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOffice and school supplies, printing, office furniture, office machines, and computer hardware. What a tough biz to work in and apparently it is so competitive. Seven months ago I purchased an HP printer from this store and chose not to spend the $30 on a 2 year replacement warranty. Never had a HP printer last less than 3 years. What they need is an ink replacememt package to knock the cost down. Anyway, took my irrepairable, 6 month old printer in, told my tale to the shift Manager. She listened, took my old HP in on refund, returned 5 unused ink cartridges, sold me a new set of cartridges for the new HP printer (with a 2 year replacement warranty) she also old me (on sale). Talk about the Customer always being right, this Manager did this transaction so much in my favor. I certainly felt like Office Max is interested in customer service. Thank you for your support and clear minded approach to supporting a Customer. Satisfied beyond any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI sent my photos as jpeg files in a zip file, using their ods email address. I have been doing this for 6 months, getting my 8x10 prints on photo paper made there. Today the technician said it was not possible to print my photos, because they were not in the correct format. but I have been spending hundreds over the last 6 months getting my prints made just like this, sending a zip file of jpegs. He said they could not print them.
I am not going back to have prints made. Bad feelings all around. IMHO the employee did not knbow what they were talking about. The usual tech, Jennifer, never had a problem and I always got great service and great prints.
I regret taking my business elsewhere-- they are convenient to my house-- but I can't put up with this nonsense. jpegs are a typical photo format, and if they can't do it they would be out of...
