Our party of 4 toured this incredible place on November 9, 2024. We didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into, but it turned out to be much more than any of us could have expected. Our tour guide, Ramon, was more than happy to answer every question (and since we 4 were very interested, there were a lot of questions!) at length; he is extremely knowledgeable. He let us take all the time we wanted to explore the aircraft, and knew so much about the history of the planes and their components, for example, which airline in which country bought which part of which airplane. The boneyard is like a car junkyard, which means (to me) that it's an active, living place where things happen over time. It's not a graveyard, where planes go after they die, which had been my idea of what the tour was about. That would have been very interesting in and of itself, but because the boneyard is so much more than that, and because Ramon was such a great tour guide, I would recommend this tour to anyone, whether they're an aircraft...

Ramon took the time to share personal anecdotes and other stories he picked up from previous tour guests to really make these old warbirds come alive.
