House of Heroes Comics — Local services in Oshkosh

Very disappointed in this place. I came in here one day with my children and a younger gentleman was working and he was very helpful courteous and knowledgeable. We made a purchase and left happily. Unfortunately that is not where it ends. Since the great experience we had the first time we decided to go back a few days later. There was an older gentleman working that day not the younger one that was the 1st day. First off we were never greeted or even acknowledged when we came in. We went to the showcase and asked to look a few items. We were greeted with and eye roll and a sigh and said before even looking that they didn't have any in stock and continued looking at papers. We asked about a few more things and we're given the same response and very rudely without even so much as walking over to where we were looking. I them asked if he though they would be getting them back in stock anytime soon and his answer was that it was too hard to keep inventory straight so they were not planning on ordering anymore anytime soon. My kids and I go out all the time and live to spend money locally instead of at big box retail hut unfortunately the owner here is extremely rude and and lacks even the care or want to make things enjoyable for the customer or try to meet their needs in the slightest. I will never again go back and hope this review helps out others who are looking at one of these type of shops. Luckily there are a few other options right on main St and we will be going...

This comic store is for new comers and long term comic book readers alike. Employees give a great atmosphere two both types of clientele. They are able to give in depth conversation about comics while also give broad strokes and point new comers in the right direction. They have a great selection of third party comics. They also have a decent size of older comics so if you are looking to collect a book to complete a story you may of missed out on, give them a look. They may have it.

This is a great store in downtown Oshkosh. They have everything you could think of to fill your little nerdy/geeky heart. They are mainly a comic book shop but they also have lots of collectibles, books, graphic novels, t-shirts, some costumes, and other geeky knickknacks. It is a fairly large shop for being in downtown Oshkosh. The prices are what you would expect at a local comic book shop. They also currently have an amazing collection of Pops for sale but that wont be up for long. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They take part in Free Comic Book day every May.
