I am not sure if Google reviews are acknowledged by this store’s owners. But training their storefront associates is what they’ll need to focus on. I stopped shopping at this store due to unpleasant behaviours from the cashiers a while ago and had an unfortunate need to shop there recently. Most of the products at this store don’t even have a price tag when picking it from the shelf, so you end up shopping blindly until you reach the cash register. I purchased a one 1 ltr bottle and another 500ml bottle of peanut oil (Avani brand) from this store. Both these bottles rang up the same price ($7.99) which is unfair for any store offering products for sale to general public. I always have a habit of checking my receipt (especially at this store) because the cashiers sct like as though they are trying to set a Guinness World Record by finishing a customer’s billing in less than 29seconds. I came back to the store to correct my bill and also asked why customers need to be billed for their purchases in such a fast manner when there isn’t any queue at the cash register. An associate, by the name Dhar (who billed me for my purchases), spoke back rudely saying “this is not my problem. I need to take this to the store manager”. Had the cashier been more aware while billing my purchase or had he been more courteous to provide a good experience to customers at the store, he would have questioned the register as to why the product was charging the same price for two different quantities. But no! He decided to take things to his own hands and give back to me rudely. He also said “I didn’t like the way you spoke about my speediness in billing” and that I took my “own sweet time to check the receipt”. Sweet time? Really? Long story short, the cashiers are reckless and don’t give a damn if customers have any concerns. I am not sure where they are hired from, but it’s clear that KC India Mart just wants to run the business and keep all customer service etiquettes aside. I have learnt my lesson and will never be visiting this store again. One can easily shop for their Indian grocery needs elsewhere for a better price and with more dignity. To KC India Mart owners: we are here to buy your products but not your store associates’ attitude. It is not about one person in particular, There is something wrong with your whole team. So please train them...
Read moreRecent experience with KC India Mart was really pathetic. We have been shopping with this store quite a long time and recently we bought a packet of sweet. While eating we felt the sweets were stinking and had some unusual taste though it was not expired. We got back to the store the next day with the packet and informed the manager about the inconvenience. He assured to get back after checking with his supplier that what is wrong. But surprisingly one week passed but did not receive any call from him. When we went to the store again checked with his employer and called the manager again he promised to call back within an hour but did not update anything. Finally, when I called him after few days to get the update he started misbehaving though it was totally his fault not to update the customer.I would recommend to buy things carefully because if anything turns out to be bad, they are not going to take any step...
Read moreAs other reviews have mentioned, poor customer service. Went to stand in line, where no one was there, and someone cut in front because they left an empty basket there. Apparently that's allowed? As I'm going to check out, the cashier is very curt and abrupt trying to rush you out, all while someone else is standing next to the checkout line (unecessarily blocking the space). People act like it's their own space and either disregard others or lack common sense.
Also, very disorganized.
Outside the building, people are always standing outside blocking parking spaces. The parking situation is already terrible as is, with how tight it is going in and coming out.
Inside, in the produce section, it isn't well-maintained. Loose pieces almost always on the floor, constantly crowded, poor quality fruits and vegetables, and sometimes you'll even find...
