Diamond Depot — Attraction in Oxford

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Diamond Depot. I had a loose diamond that I wanted to incorporate into a unique engagement ring. I work in Atlanta, so I decided to visit a well known jewelry designer in Buckhead. She was very knowledgeable, but had her own idea for the ring, and didn’t seem to listen to what I wanted. Frustrated and disappointed after our third meeting, I decided to scrap the whole project.

When explaining the bad experience to a friend, she mentioned that Terry had recently designed an engagement ring for a relative which turned out beautifully. Since I live in Oxford, I figured I didn’t have anything to lose so I dropped in one day to check it out. During our first meeting, Terry really took the time to listen to me, made notes and offered suggestions when I asked for them.

Over the course of the design process, I completely changed what I wanted, but Terry and Amanda were very patient and encouraging. When I decided that I wanted side stones, they arranged to bring in three sets for me to view with my diamond to find the perfect match. After I received the original CAD rendering, I realized that there were a few things that I wanted to change. Each suggestion was promptly incorporated into the design and a new CAD rendering sent.

I was able to pick up my finished ring on Christmas Eve, and it was more stunning than I had ever imagined. Even though this was a custom design that involved a lot of personal service, the price for the setting was very reasonable. I was so blessed to find Diamond Depot. I originally went in with some family members looking at engagement rings and Amanda stated that they could do sizing for the engagement ring they liked if it didn't fit. I had a ring I got for our 2nd Anniversary that had gotten to small. Several other Jewelers told me it could not be sized. So it sat in a special case hoping one day it would fit. When I spoke to Amanda she said she thought they would be able to size it. Just bring it in and they would see. I found out that the reason my ring didn't fit was because I was sold the wrong size. Amanda sized the ring, sized my finger and checked to make sure none of the stones were missing. She was so polite and professional. I felt so comfortable with them I even gave them my engagement and wedding ring to be cleaned. Amanda did the same thing checked to make sure I wasn't missing stones or had loose stones. I got my rings back today and I am so happy with them. Diamond Depot is definitely where's all my jewelry will go in the future. And I already have my eyes on my next Anniversary present. Ok so I did this review a few years ago and I apparently didn’t post it. My 2yr anniversary ring band cracked. I was crushed. I stuck it in my jewelry box where it has sat for years. Then one day I met Allen from Diamond Depot. He told me to bring in my ring and let them see if they can repair it. Y’all they did free of charge and the guaranteed their work!!

I will be leaving this review in part for my husband, who never takes the time to do it himself. With that being said, his not leaving a review in no way should be taken as a bad experience. In fact, he was so impressed with his experience, that he struggled with not sharing it too soon. When he gave me the ring he purchased, (which BTW is beautiful) it was as though he was almost as thrilled with being able to share with me how pleased he had been with his experience, as he was with giving me the ring. The knowledge that Amanda used in order to help him to make the right choices, was very helpful. I smile even now, thinking about how impressed he was with the way Diamon Depot operates. I will refrain from going into all the details he shared with me in reference to their Knowledge, professionalism, price, etc. Other than to say, I'm convinced he will never go anywhere else. I can assure you, based on my own experience which consisted of having the ring sized, and having my older band recoated, at Diamond Depot, if you've never done business here, you are missing out. Again, Thank you Amanda, for all of your help, from beginning to end. You will definitely be seeing us...
