Stained Glass Theatre — Attraction in Ozark

In 1989, I remember the first time I was privileged to see the Stained Glass Theatre when it was located in Springfield, MO. We were told the story of how it used to be a church many years ago. The Windows were still in place & the original church pews were too! The play was set at Christmas time.....so Jesus Christ was the center of a home that loved the Lord but some family visitor's, not so much. As a new Christian, my heart was blessed by the performance & so were many others. There was an alter call given & the opportunity to pray. I really appreciated that, because I was still learning about the ways of God. Its thirty-one years later now, & I'm still learning about God, Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit! Thank you, for all these years! I have loved going to SGT in Springfield & the newer Theater in Ozark! Its a wonderful way to spend the day, learning more about the stories in the Bible. This is a great place to take a group of people for an outing. I have attended several plays throughout the years. The cast is always very polite and the plays are good. The place is clean and always well decorated according to the season. I've always attended around Christmas time, but it was nice to go during the fall this year. The tree and tables were decorated so beautifully for Thanksgiving/fall. The temperature was nice in the theatre this year. I took a blanket and was comfortable. However, most of my group said it was warmer than usual in the theatre. It is typically an older crowd, but I have been going since my 40's and enjoy it. I am in my 50's now. The actor's and actresses are younger. It is worth a visit. It is a little hidden gem. Hats off to the cast and staff. They make it easy to reserve tickets. The place is always clean. Foreseen is a Must See! This play is written by new playwrights and is absolutely one of the best small plays I have seen. The story is dripping with Gospel truth and what it is like to live with that truth. Tears, joy, and laughter are just some of the many emotions you will feel while enjoying this amazing story. Thank you to Stained Glass Theater for supporting new artist endeavors of such high quality. The Lord is most certainly honored and praised during these performances.
