My husband and I have always come here to this location and we enjoyed the service but recently we has a visit that was so much less that pleasurable. We got seated after waiting whenever their was no wait or line. Then about 45 min after that a server came over and got us some drinks and took our order. We waited another hour at least for our food to come out. Once we got our food my husband noticed his was completely burnt and his eggs were crispy when he ordered over easy! I had ham steak and banana nut waffles. My ham was still frozen in the middle around the bone and my waffles had huge chunks of slimy brown bananas all in and over them. We were going to tell our server but she never came back. We went upfront and waited in line for probably 10-minutes to pay and we were waiting to descretley talk to someone about how bad our order was and how we left it on the table and did not eat it because it was so bad. While we were in line we saw a manager walk by and before we could talk to him the people in line behind us grabbed him and started telling him how horrible their food was and how nasty and cold it was also. He waived their bill and they left, I was at the front of the line now and the manager was standing their and I told him about our food quietly and how we left it on the table and he said okay. No apologizes or anything, gets on the Kiosk and takes our bill from 23.00 down to 18.61 and just walks off. Never have had such poor service or had to pay from burnt/frozen food that we did not even touch in my life. We were a regular customer and probably went to this location 1 or 2 times per week. We have always loved the place but all it took was this one experience and I will now never go back!!! Poor management and a hateful check out person does not result in great...

And waited, noticing that people who came in AFTER us were receiving their food, eating and leaving. We had been sutting for ine hour. Went and asked to talk to manager. He came to table, heard our complaint and said he'd be right back. He came back in all but said we were lying. He argued with us saying we had not been there that long. Six elderly ladies are going to put up with this? NO. We told him we'd just leave. He then apologized and said they'd cover our meals. Then two ladies received their salads. We other four continued to wait for our eggs. The ladies who had salad asked for to go boxes because their salads were so large. At this time another lady received her crepe. She also asked for a to gi back fir her potatoes. We thought surely our fried eggs would come next. Ten more minutes passed and we'd had enough. We three told our friends goodbye and got up. As we did here was the waiter with our meals in TO GO BOXES. That was the last straw. You cannit reheat a fried egg. We left boxes on table and let them know we'll never be back. We had been going there for years after church for breakfast/brunch and always left 20% tips. No more. We went into Springfield and were able to get into a restaurant after a few minute wait. It was approx. 15 min. to order, visit, eat, and leave. That is the way it should have been at the Ozark...
