I took my wife's wedding ring in to Exquisite Jewelers to get her stone reset due to a broken prong. During the resetting process, a flaw in the stone led to the diamond cracking along the edge while it was being reset. I did not know at the time, but have since learned that princess cut stones, due to their thin edges are somewhat prone to cracking while being set. Even when every precaution is taken (and they certainly did with hers), a very small number princess stones can still crack, and unfortunately my wife's was one of them. I was hoping they could find a similar stone to replace the cracked one. However, my wife's stone was a difficult one to match due to it's relatively large size (1.2 ct.) but less than perfect clarity. So instead of finding one just like my wife's, they ended up finding a stone that was rated even higher than the original stone. It looked beautiful and other than being a little sad that her original stone had been ruined, both my wife and myself were very happy with the resolution. It's rare these days to find a business that stands behind their work in the way Twan and his team at Exquisite Jewelers did for us. After the way they treated us and our situation, I wouldn't hesitate to take my business back to them. They have great prices, and a great selection of jewelry and watches. Great...

We purchased a previously used engagement ring and a week later I decided I would rather save up for something a little nicer. My husband tried to return the ring, and was told there would be a 10% restock fee to cover the cost of scratches and the costs they incur for having to swipe our card. We had purchased the ring exactly a week prior to the return date and the ring had only be worn for a couple days as the decision to return had been made soon after the purchase. I am all for supporting small business but I don't appreciate the deception in the return policy. We most definitely had plans on returning here for our future purchase including a bigger ring but unfortunately this has left a sour taste...
Read moreMy experience with Twan was disappointing. I purchased a ring online and it included sizing. Rather than wait for me to give the correct size, he guessed based on our conversations. So I received a ring that didn't fit. Several of the stones were loose too. When I brought it to his attention he asked me to return for a refund. Upon returning and receiving a refund, he told me he was going to tighten the loose stones and replace the broken and resell. What the heck?! Had he offered to do that for me, this rating would be higher and I wouldn't have returned (loved the ring just wanted tight stones and the correct size). What kind of business professional refuses it fix an item purchased by a customer then rubs their nose in the fact, that he's going to fix it and sell it to someone else! What happened to ethics...
