This review is for a terrible experience we had at the kettle corn and ice cream truck. We ordered a shake and ice cream. At the time we ordered there was only 1 person in line ahead of us. We received our shake in a timely manner and then waited for a long time while others who ordered after us received their orders. The worst part of this experience was when I asked the girl about our ice cream because it had taken so long and our shake was melting, she started yelling at us in front of my 5 year old grandson and the crowd of people who were all waiting for their food. At this point there were a lot of people waiting because of the poor service they were providing. She was completely unhinged and abusive in her response. It went beyond rudeness and the crowd looked stunned at...

There wasn't anything unique about the street fair that differs from any other type of similar venue in any other city. A large number of the sellers were offering products made in China, India or other countries where cheap labor is in abundance. There were a few vendors who make/produce their own products and for them, they deserve a 5. We enjoyed walking around and the energy from many visitors. Btw, if you need golf balls at a great price, definitely the place to go. When you enter the college grounds, keep right at the traffic circle and your first right for parking...

We make a girls trip to Palm Springs / Palm Desert every year which includes a visit to the College of the Desert. It is a huge outdoor, but with some cover flea market. We walk the entire thing stopping here and there to get something to eat and check out the vendors items. It ranges from Clothes to Shoes to purses to towels..... things you would not expect. Every year I think I must have seen it all and that I won't buy anything... but I always do! Overall this is a must experience on your trip to...

This is always a fun and interesting pastime while visiting the desert cities - Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells … every Saturday & Sunday mornings until 2:00 PM at the College of the Desert —> juncture of Fred Waring and Monterey Dr in Palm Desert.
