Absolutely wonderful. We were looking for a delicious, filling, and moderately priced place serving fresh and savory dishes and read some highly rated Yelp reviews on this place. I treated my husband out to breakfast with our toddler for Fathers Day and we were not disappointed. The look of the place, tucked into a small strip mall oasis, was very refreshing on a balmy morning. Clean and decorated with comforting, calming and cozy colors. Soft music wafted on the slight breeze. Plentiful outdoor seating with a modern patio feel. The menus were easy to read and very clear for which we are thankful for. Not cluttered up with too many choices. I had the Lox & Bagel and my husband the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. Our toddler had the Silver Dollar Pancakes with fruit and orange juice. For $13.75, the lox & bagel was well presented, all toppings and ingredients liberally displayed. I was so happy to have a large plate enough to satisfy and fill me that I forgot to season my open faced sandwiches with salt and pepper like I normally do... and didn't even care. My husband practically melted away with satiation, happy to have finally found a place in this desert serving an actual Chorizo breakfast burrito ($12.75?), hearty, with the flavors balanced and not just haphazardly thrown together (I.e. thank you for NOT putting beans IN the burrito as that would have cancelled out the chorizo spices). His plate also had home fries garnished with green onions and a scoop of guacamole and sour cream. The kids menu (pictured artistically colored by my son) was moderately priced as well and had a great selection to choose from. It was a pretty large plate too. Well worth the cost and kept my kid's hunger-attention. All around a phenomenal experience. The only suggestions I have are: more variety in the kids side fruit than just cantaloupe and watermelon (my kid loves grapes, blueberries and bananas for example), and for my lox breakfast less capers, more cream cheese (also, probably should drain the capers before serving them as I had to strain them into another vessel, relieved I caught that before shaking them onto my bagel. That would have been very disappointing to me to have dumped THAT on bread. Dont get me wrong; I LOVE capers, just not so much the brine they're kept in). The flavors were great and the coffee was pleasant. Also, thank you for having flavored creamers for our coffees. Coffee is a major factor in our cafe dining experience.

Pretty disappointing place, to be honest. Menu looked interesting online, but it doesn't matter how much of a menu you have if you can't make the food. My "Prime Time" pulled pork BBQ sandwich had a couple of drops of sauce at the most, making it bone dry, and it lacked its advertised pickle. Fries were cold and tasted left out. My friend's breakfast was reportedly mediocre, and neither of us finished our meal there. The atmosphere wasn't too good. They had multiple tables taken up by someone leaving a laptop and work materials on it. The door we were near was junky looking and needed paint. And they looped the same song three times in there, annoying, to say the least. Service was friendly, if a bit slow and disorganized. Overall, there are a lot of choices for food there, so you should really pick somewhere else other than here.

We have been coming here since we moved to the desert three years ago. They do have one of the best pancakes you can get. However, this last visit had us pause on a major quality drop on both food and service. We came in around 8AM on a Sunday. The restaurant was not very busy, as we are still in the summer timing when the snowbirds have yet to arrive. We got seated quickly, drink orders taken and delivered, but the waitress took a long time to get to our table. When she finally did, she was void of any personality. When I asked if I could have an omelet made with egg whites, she did not acknowledge if they could or couldn't. I finally repeated the ask and she just nodded. Maybe she had trouble spelling egg whites as she was writing something down...anyway...two other couples arrive and are seated, drinks taken and their orders also taken. Both tables who came in five minutes after us received their food before we did. Ours finally came out and Miss Egg Whites couldn't remember who ordered them of the two of us at the table. The food was luke warm at best. The toast I ordered was hand broken, meaning they just snapped in versus cutting it with a knife and presented like a real restaurant. The food was likely sitting on the counter as she pre-served two other tables that came in after us. We had to wave down someone to refill coffee. Just not what we've come to expect here. Will we come back? Likely, we will try it again, but will give them a rest for a bit. If we see the same type of service and bad food quality, after a second chance, they'll be off the list as there are so many other great places for breakfast...

Man, this place was bad. We came into town and stayed at the JW Marriott with our kids. Looked for a family friendly restaurant around, it was a Wed or Thurs late morning. We opted to sit outside since the weather was nice enough. Goodness, the service was TERRIBLE. Took forever to order anything. Ordered coffee, and they didn't bring sugar or cream. Husband ordered a beer, and server could not tell him what they had on tap. Instead of saying she could go check and come back, she just straight up said "I don't know", and felt good leaving it at that. My son spilt his chocolate milk, my husband was on the floor cleaning it up and the servers just walked by, without even offering any napkins or anything at all. My chicken and waffles...chicken was mostly bones and waffles had no flavor. The syrup was extremely watered down, also with no flavor. My husband's huevos rancheros were awful, do not recommend at all. Tortilla with sauce that's it. THE ONLY THING that actually tasted good were my kids chocolate chip pancakes. They were really good. The fries were also very good. I would never come back...
